It would appear that a few brave Republicans are finally growing a backbone and not waiting for 2022 in attempting to save America’s sovereignty. They’re finally enacting Articles of Impeachment against Director of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas, and hopefully soon against President Biden.
Arizona Congressmen Andy Biggs on Friday announced his intention to file articles of impeachment against Mayorkas, for his willful mishandling of the humanitarian crisis at our southern border, created by the Biden administration.
In a prepared statement Biggs announced his plan: “Secretary Mayorkas is a threat to the sovereignty and security of our nation. As a result of his actions and policies, America is more in danger today than when he began serving as Secretary.”
Biggs has yet to announce exactly when he will formerly introduce those articles of impeachment or if other Republicans in congress will support his effort. This has always been the fundamental issue with the GOP, in that for whatever reason Republicans seldom band together as a cohesive force for the common good of the nation. They continually allow Democrats to set the political agenda (no matter how absurd) creating chaos and division within their wake.
No doubt introducing articles of impeachment raises the heat for an already divided nation, however America is in crisis. What is taking place on our southern border under the guise of a benevolent and humanitarian immigration policy is actually a surreptitiously clever attempt to change the voting demographics within predominantly red states. This is done by flooding those states with hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens.
According to the Associated Press in the month of July alone more than 210,000 illegal migrants have crossed into the United States. However, according to the Biden administration many of those migrants infected with COVID-19 are being removed and sent back home under Title 42 the Public Protection Act. This allows the federal government to rapidly expel migrants from entering the U.S.
However, according to the articles of impeachment currently being drawn Congressmen Biggs has accused Secretary Mayorkas of “willfully refusing to maintain operational control of the border,” and of encouraging migrants to enter the country illegally.
He added, “Under his direction, DHS is systematically releasing COVID-19 positive aliens into our communities, subjecting the American people to unnecessary and avoidable risks.”
Moreover, Biggs’ claim of infected migrants being released into the interior of the country has been well documented and verified by a number of reputable news outlets. Reporters have been on the ground reporting on the crisis daily.
The 62-year old Tucson, Arizona native isn’t alone in calling for the impeachment of Mayorkas.
Recently Texas Rep. Chip Roy has also called for the impeachment of Mayorkas along with the true culprit responsible for the border crisis: President Biden.
Roy told Fox News recently, “Over the past several months, President Biden and Secretary Mayorkas have blatantly and consistently refused to do their constitutional duty to take care that the immigration laws be faithfully executed, as required by Article II, endangering countless American and foreign lives in the process.”

The call for impeaching both Biden and Mayorkas was also echoed on talk radio’s Jesse Kelly’s show. The conservative Iraq War veteran described the border crisis as “more impeachable than Watergate“.
Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene also weighted in with a similar response, noting that the surge was continuing amid Democrats’ domestic calls for renewed corona-virus restrictions.
“Biden and Harris have created a national security crisis & they are making you pay for it, while telling Americans they have to mask up, vaccinate, and prepare to lockdown again,” she tweeted.
However, the question still remains; do Republicans have the intestinal fortitude to impeach both Biden and Mayorkas, or is this just more hot air?
Only time will tell.
