Newt Gingrich, former Speaker of the House, had this to say about VP Kamala Harris when he appeared on Hannity on Thursday:
“I think she actually accomplished something very historic. She got CNN, historically the strongest supporter of liberal Democrats, to run an entire story pointing out that the president’s team and the vice president’s team are fighting internally, in a very ferocious way. I’ve never seen CNN do anything that would be harmful to Joe Biden. This story was devastating, and I think it starts with a simple fact. Biden’s at 38 percent approval. She’s at 28% approval. Powerful people wake up in the morning. They go, ‘It can’t be me. So I wonder who’s doing this?’ So the Biden people say it’s all Harris’s fault. The Harris people say, you know, if only he was using her correctly.
I think you’re going to see more of this kind of backbiting because the truth is she hasn’t accomplished anything. I mean, it’s an embarrassment. But then, on the other hand, she’s working with Joe Biden, who has accomplished almost nothing. And it’s an embarrassment. As you point out, just watching him in public in an unscripted environment is a little frightening, frankly, to think that this is the commander-in-chief and to know that our opponents around the planet are watching the same TV coverage. I think this is, having known a fair number of vice presidents, this is an amazing moment for probably the worst vice president in American history.”
That’s right, after calling her “an embarrassment” and saying that watching Slow Joe try to interact with the world is “frightening,” he went ahead and said what a lot of Americans are probably thinking: she’s “probably the worst vice president in American history.” Watch it here:

The CNN story to which Gingrich refers was titled “Exasperation and dysfunction: Inside Kamala Harris’ frustrating start as vice president” and claims:
Worn out by what they see as entrenched dysfunction and lack of focus, key West Wing aides have largely thrown up their hands at Vice President Kamala Harris and her staff — deciding there simply isn’t time to deal with them right now, especially at a moment when President Joe Biden faces quickly multiplying legislative and political concerns.
Though the article goes on to criticize Biden for not fully integrating her into the White House’s operations, the central point is implicit: Kamala isn’t much liked in the White House and hasn’t accomplished much. As a result, dysfunction, incompetence, and in-fighting have defined her time in the White House, not any accomplishments.
In fact, as Gingrich notes, the only real accomplishment that can be attributed to Kamala is that her incompetence and unlikability forced CNN to run an article critical of the Joe Biden White House. Even though there are rumors CNN might soon start switching back to running actual news, that’s still impressive: how many critical stories did it run of the Obama Administration? Not many.
Substantiating Gingrich’s claims that she’s the “worst ever,” is the fact that she now has a lower approval rating than even Dick Cheney did at the height of his bloody war in Iraq. In 2007, his approval hit a then low for a VP when it dropped to 30%. Kamala’s approval rating, according to a recent poll, is 28%, a fact Gingrich noted in his devastating monologue.
So, while the left constantly hails Kamala as a “historic” VP because of her skin color and gender, they might be right, just not for the reasons they give. She’s “historic” not because of her accomplishments or popularity, but for the lack thereof. Based on the CNN report, no one even in the far-left, dysfunctional Brandon Administration can stand Kamala. The general public, if the aforementioned poll is to be believed, certainly can’t.
