Tom Cotton, never one to shy away from doing battle with the woke, as we saw when he slammed Biden’s race-baiting DOJ nominee and skewered the military for pushing CRT on the troops, is once more stepping into the ring. This time, he’s demanding President Brandon apologize for his slanderous comments about Kyle Rittenhouse.
“Joe Biden needs to publicly apologize to Kyle Rittenhouse,” Cotton tweeted.

Cotton’s comments came after Judge Schroeder dismissed two charges related to Kyle’s weapon and jurors, after 26 total hours of deliberation, found Rittenhouse not guilty on all five counts: first-degree reckless homicide, two counts of first-degree intentional homicide, and two counts of first-degree reckless endangerment.
And, as Fox News reports, Cotton’s call for Biden to recant and apologize is probably referring to Biden’s patently false claim that Rittenhouse is a white supremacist. Here’s what Fox reported:
During his presidential campaign, Biden included an image of Rittenhouse in a video he tweeted attempting to link former President Trump to White supremacists. Biden was asked on Friday about his past characterization of Rittenhouse but declined to answer directly whether he stands by it.
There is no evidence to link Rittenhouse to White supremacy.
That video can be watched here:

Rittenhouse’s attorney expressed a similar sentiment, noting how unusual and inappropriate it was for a president to claim that someone forced to defend himself was a white supremacist, as the New York Post reported:
Kyle Rittenhouse’s attorney Mark Richards slammed President Biden for calling the now jury-cleared 18-year-old a “white supremacist” and saying things “so incorrect and untrue” about his client on the campaign trail.
“I’ve never had a case, I don’t think I ever will, where within two days or three days of one another, you know, the President and the presidential candidate comment on it. And both of them had such different beliefs,” Richards said.
“President Biden said some things, I think are so incorrect and untrue — he is not a white supremacist.”
President Biden, however, has not disavowed his comments on Mr. Rittenhouse. When asked Friday the 19th if he stood by his characterization of Rittenhouse as a white supremacist, President Biden refused to answer.
Similarly, Jen Psaki refused to disavow the characterization of Rittenhouse as a white supremacist. When asked “And then just something tied to an ongoing court case. Why did President Biden suggest that Kyle Rittenhouse, on trial in Kenosha, is a white supremacist?” by Peter Doocey at a time when the trial was still ongoing, she said:
“So, Peter, what I — I’m not going to speak to right now is anything about an ongoing trial nor the President’s past comments. What I can reiterate for you is the president’s view that we shouldn’t have — broadly speaking — vigilantes patrolling our communities with assault weapons. We shouldn’t have opportunists corrupting peaceful protests by rioting and burning down the communities they claim to represent anywhere in the country.
As you know, closing arguments in this particular case — which I’m not speaking to; I’m just making broad comments about his own view — there’s an ongoing trial. We’re awaiting a verdict. Beyond that, I’m not going to speak to any individuals or this case.”
Many comments on Cotton’s tweet argued that Rittenhouse should also sue the MSM, which spread a similar message about Rittenhouse following the shooting in Kenosha:
Should be filing law suits against MSM and politicians today as he released with his AR-15 going home.

With Biden refusing to walk back his statements, however, perhaps Mr. Rittenhouse should start at the top and then work his way down from there. Like Mr. Sandman, he’ll likely have quite a few checks to collect from those that lied about him.
