Austria is Hiring People to Hunt Down Vaccine Refusers

Apparently, Austria can’t help but revert to its dark history in times of crisis.

Now, after already pushing forward a law that would allow it to heavily fine and perhaps even arrest those that refuse the jab, it’s looking for Gestapo-like volunteers to hunt down those that don’t want the vaxx.

That’s according to an article on Swiss news site “The Blick,” the English translation of which has this to say:

Linz now wants to engage people who are supposed to control vaccination refusals, as reported ” today “. They should check whether those who do not get vaccinated are actually paying for it. Because whoever does not get vaccinated will be asked to pay. Up to 3600 euros, the equivalent of a good 3740 francs.

[…]The job includes, among other things, the creation of penal orders as well as the processing of appeals. A completed Matura is required in the job profile. In addition, the hunters should be resilient and willing to work. Specifically: ready to work more overtime!

Apparently, Linz is adopting such heavy-handed measures because it wants everyone to get the jab and only about 63% of the population has done so.

So, to track down those that don’t want the jab and “make them pay” the fine, Linz is paying vaxxed or “recovered” citizens about 39,000 Euros a year to hunt them down.

So, much like the Stasi had a vast network of informants in East Germany, perhaps up to 1 in 100 of East Germany’s subjects, the Austrian government is now falling back on citizen volunteers to root out and report their wrongthinking neighbors.

Those reported by their neighbors face fines of up to 8,000 Euros and even a year in jail, a prison sentence they’d have to pay the costs of.
