Fauci Wants Jesse Watters Fired

FAUCI

Jesse Watters, during his speech at AmericaFest, told the crowd to harass Dr. Fauci in public, saying “Now you go in with the kill shot – deadly. Because, with an ambush, he doesn’t see it coming.”

Obviously, he meant only that people should verbally excoriate the gravel-voiced flip-flopper, not that conservatives should actually ambush Fauci Bushwacker style.

But, of course, the same left that claimed protests were “fiery, but mostly peaceful” feels no need to delve into what Watters actually meant, and instead wants to take his comments out of context and frame them as being a call to violence, saying they represent “incendiary, dangerous, violent rhetoric.”

And it’s not just leftists on Twitter feigning outrage about Watters’ remarks. Fauci, on CNN, called for the funny Fox host to be fired, saying:

“Well, John, that’s horrible. I mean, that just is such a reflection of the craziness that goes on in society. The only thing that I have ever done throughout these two years is to encourage people to practice good public health practices, to get vaccinated, to be careful in public settings, to wear a mask. And for that, you have some guy out there saying that people should be giving me a kill shot, to ambush me? I mean, what kind of craziness is there in society these days? That’s awful that he said that. And he’s going to go, very likely, unaccountable. I mean, whatever network he’s on is not going to do anything for him. I mean, that’s crazy. The guy should be fired on the spot.”

Fortunately, Fox isn’t backing down to the medical tyrant and firing Watters. As reported by Breitbart, it had this to say about the incident:

In a statement provided to Breitbart, Fox News said it was “clear” Watters was using a metaphor and his remarks were “twisted completely out of context.”

“Based on watching the full clip and reading the entire transcript, it’s more than clear that Jesse Watters was using a metaphor for asking hard-hitting questions to Dr. Fauci about gain-of-function research and his words have been twisted completely out of context,” the statement said.

Fox is obviously right. Watters was clearly telling the crowd that it should confront the tyrant and “ambush” him with hard-hitting questions, not that they should act like Quantrill’s Raiders and hunt down NIH personnel.
