Holocaust Lesson Gone Wrong as Children Told to Dig Their Own Graves!

There have been so many issues with public schools that it’s truly a surprise that more parents have yanked their children out them altogether. Between finding pedophilia and graphic pornography in several books throughout hundreds of school libraries across the nation to children being indoctrinated into ANTIFA by psychotic teachers, there really hasn’t been a better time to home school children.

Conservative commentators like Matt Walsh have been telling people that most public schools simply cannot be trusted with the education of your little ones and stories like this only prove his point.

Last Friday, December 17th, 2021, a Jewish Holocaust lesson was being taught in the library of Watkins Elementary. Several third graders went home and reported to parents that they were forced to reenact several aspects of one of the most horrific events in world history. Many parents reported that their children were traumatized over the lesson and that some were having nightmares.

Local Foxs News station Fox 5, reported that “In a letter sent to parents at Watkins Elementary School in Southeast, the principal says according reports he received, the re-enactment included “students being asked to portray participants from the Holocaust like Adolf Hitler, digging ditches to serve as mass graves, and simulated shootings. It was also alleged that the staff member leading the lesson also made anti-Semitic statements.”

“The district also said the staff member involved in the incident has been placed on leave pending an investigation.

“This was not an approved lesson plan, and we sincerely apologize to our students and families who were subjected to this incident,” DC Public Schools said, adding that it is “committed to creating a welcoming environment for all students.”

In a letter sent home to parents, the principal of Watkins Elementary School – citing reports he had received – said the lesson included “students being asked to portray participants from the Holocaust like Adolf Hitler, digging ditches to serve as mass graves, and simulated shootings.

If this lesson plan had come from a high school, I don’t think there’d be such an uproar. Afterall, we must learn history to prevent it from happening again. There’s nothing wrong with learning about these atrocities, but assuming a group of eight-year-olds are mature enough and wise enough to understand what they are being taught is just plain naive.

What’s more, in a post Columbine climate such as ours, who think it’s a good idea to have small children simulating shooting people? What kind of teacher went into that school and thought to themselves, “I’ve got a great idea for an interactive lesson plan! Let’s have a child pretend to be Hitler and call for the deaths of a large portion of his classmates!”? I’d genuinely like to know.

Once more, just in case some of you are thinking that anyone is saying that the education of the WW2 should be censored, that’s not the case at all. It’s just that there are far better ways to teach third-grade children about the Holocaust. Reading the Diary of Anne Frank, for instance, was how I was introduced to the subject matter, though I am certain I didn’t actually learn of WW2 until fourth or fifth grade.

Perhaps this twitter user is right and it’s time to start doing psych evals on teachers before hiring them.
