Like Rome in its glory days, Poland in the present, or America under sane administrations, he’d prefer to keep the rampaging hordes out of his nation.
So, he’s keeping migrants outside Hungary’s borders and the agents of the Pantsuit Empire are furious. One such raging leftist is Pope Francis, who used his authority as Pope to lend credibility to the EU’s anti-Western demands.
In a papal pronouncement, Francis demanded countries take in migrants, saying:
“During my visit to Cyprus and Greece, I was able to once again personally touch wounded humanity in refugees and migrants. I also noted how only some European countries are bearing most of the consequences of this migratory phenomenon in the Mediterranean area, while in reality, a shared responsibility is necessary from which no country can exempt itself.”
A nice sentiment, to be sure, but one lacking in basic reason or even a Biblical basis.
For one, it’s not at all true that “no country can exempt itself” from the migrant hordes. Hungary, Poland, and Russia all have and are far better for it. Rather than struggle with increased rape, murder, and other forms of violent crime, as migrant-friendly states like Sweden have, they’ve remained culturally and socially secure.
Furthermore, there’s no Biblical backing for Francis’s pronouncement. Other than vague statements from Jesus about helping “the least of these,” little’s in there that could be used to demand Hungary bend to the will of the EU and expose its citizens to the predations of migrants from the Middle East.
So, Francis is exposing him as woke once again. Hungary has no duty to follow his unreasonable and unbiblical pronouncements. Perhaps he should take the log out of his own eye first by dealing with the sexual abuse crisis he allegedly helped cover up.
