During murdered New York police officer Jason Rivera’s funeral, a leftist actress just couldn’t keep her mouth shut and not go on a vulgar, abrasive tirade.
So, because she couldn’t keep her mouth shut, she went ahead and said the worst thing she could, ranting about why she thought that the city didn’t need to be shut down for “one f—— cop.” Yup, she really said that, and more, as you can watch here:

As you can hear in the video, the actress Jacqueline Guzman, says:
“We do not need to shut down most of Lower Manhattan because one cop died for probably doing his job incorrectly. They kill people who are under 22 every single day for no good reason and we don’t shut down the city for them.
Like this is f–—– ridiculous. This is f–—– ridiculous. What if somebody is having a heart attack in this area? Nobody can get to them because it’s all blocked off for one f–—– cop.”
Well, ranting about how inconvenient a street shutdown was and blaming the police officer for dying went predictably badly for Ms. Guzman, who was fired soon afterward.
Her employer, Face to Face films, released a statement on Facebook, saying:
“Face to Face Films has just been made aware of an insensitive video involving one of our members, Jacqueline Guzman.
Face to Face Films does not support nor can condone these comments made about fallen Officer Rivera.
As a result, she is no longer a member of our company.”

Though the Twitter outrage to Guzman’s horrific comments was swift and severe, and probably the reason that her company took the immediate, drastic stop of firing her, others gave calmer, more productive statements than the sort of comments about her found on Twitter.
For example, the New York Post reports that New York City Police Benevolent Association President Patrick Lynch said “New Yorkers turned out by the thousands yesterday to help us honor our fallen brother. One person spreading hate cannot erase that. This kind of garbage has polluted the conversation for far too long. We need the New Yorkers who are standing with us to speak up and push back.”
Guzman has since deleted her Twitter profile. The outrage and hate mail she received was probably severe.
The background to Ms. Guzman’s horrid TikTok post, the one in which she ranted and raved about the street being closed and inconveniencing her, is that Jason Rivera, a New York City police officer, was murdered on Jan. 21 while responding to a domestic dispute in Harlem. Another police officer who was involved in the call was shot too and died days later. It was a horrific double murder, one that shocked the city.
As a result, the city turned out for his funeral, lining the street, while a massive column of police officers marched to show their solidarity with Mr. Rivera and honor his memory. It was a wonderful, if sad, moment, one where the cost of the left’s anti-cop rhetoric was on full display. And then it was almost ruined by Ms. Guzman and her horrific rant.
