On January 3rd, 2020, President Trump exacted revenge for the many American and Iraqi soldiers and civilians killed by Iran’s notorious Quds Force when he killed Iranian General Soleimani via drone.
While the targeting killing of the thuggish IRGC commander was much cheered by those in American and around the world that remember Iran’s depredations in the region, many Iraqis were less pleased by it, tied as they are (through organizations like the Iran-backed Popular Mobilization Forces, or PMFs/PMUs) and harbor resentment about it to this day.
They’re now protesting us and threatening to burn down the American embassy in Iraq on the anniversary of Soleimani’s killing.
In what was likely an Iran-backed and Iran-instigated event, protesters in Baghdad gathered and protested outside the Green Zone and videoed themselves burning down a mock US embassy.
Cheering the protests, one of Iran’s state-affiliated media accounts posted a video of the burning on Twitter:

Another account posted footage of the mass protest in Baghdad, showing to the massive size of the threatening crowd:

Tasnim News Agency, which is even more of a regime media outlet for Iran than CNN or MSNBC are for the American Globalist Empire, quoted a protester as saying:
“Today we are remembering the day the evil embassy entered Iraq, the embassy of the great devil. This American embassy that never brings good things to all countries, bringing harm to the Iraqi people. Today, the Iraqis also mourn Qassem Soleimani, and the heroic martyr Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, who walked on this path”
That article also notes that the protests were organized by the PMU, which is a pro-Iran militia force, meaning that they were likely organized at least in part by Iran or its agents in the country.
