I suppose, after seeing the rainbow flag wave over the embassy in Kabul, it shouldn’t be that unexpected that the US is attacking another nation not for doing anything wrong, but for claiming to defend family values.
Yes, you read that right. As part of the State Department’s propaganda war against Holy Russia, a bureaucrat came up with this anti-Western gibberish and pushed it out, I suppose thinking that Americans would be proud to die on the streets of Kharhov if it meant defeating one of the few remaining nations that champions family values. Here’s what the State Department propaganda says:
Russia pushes the false claim that Western civilization is collapsing and has strayed from “traditional values” because it works to ensure the safety and equality of LGBTQI+ people and promotes concepts such as female equality and multiculturalism. The demise of Western civilization is one of Russia’s oldest disinformation tropes, with claims of “the decaying west” documented since the 19th century.
This “values”-based disinformation narrative evokes ill-defined concepts including “tradition,” “family values,” and “spirituality.” Russia argues it is the bastion of so-called “traditional values” and gender roles and serves as a moral counterweight to the “decadence” of the United States and Western countries. For example, President Putin has claimed the West has practically cancelled the concepts of “mother” and “father,” and instead has replaced them with “parent 1 and 2,” while Foreign Minister Lavrov wrote that Western students “learn at school that Jesus Christ was bisexual.”
Yes, that’s right. Some bureaucrat thought that the best way to criticize the Russkies for spreading “disinformation narratives” would be to claim that the West really isn’t collapsing (the scenes out of everywhere from LA to Munich say otherwise). Oh, and then by saying things like “so-called ‘traditional values’” to belittle the idea that there are traditional values.
The State Department was quickly mocked on Twitter, with this post being one of my favorite about it:

Regardless of the dimwitted propaganda pushed by the agents of the Pantsuit Empire, the simple fact is that Russia actually does defend traditional values, at least compared to most Western countries.
Russian President Vladimir Putin gave a speech a few months ago in which he said:
“Those who risk saying that men and women still exist, and that this is a biological fact, are virtually ostracized [in the West].”
He went on to add that:
“This is not to mention things that are simply monstrous, like when children are taught from an early age that a boy can easily become a girl and vice versa. In fact, they are indoctrinating them into the alleged choices that are supposedly available to everyone – removing parents from the equation and forcing the child to make decisions that can ruin their lives.”
Unlike the West, Putin isn’t up for transing the kids. So there’s that traditional value, at least, that he’s standing for. And, despite what the State Department apparatchiks might write, it sure seems like his policies are a moral counterweight to our decadence. The Russkies haven’t hoisted the rainbow flag over their embassies or painted murals of George Floyd anywhere, after all.
The Pantsuit Empire is pushing us toward war with Putin. Take a moment and think: would you rather be on the side of traditional values and moral living or decadence and licentiousness?
