It’s no secret that Kamala is about as vapid as Brandon, only it’s worse with her because she’s not senile. Rather, she just never had the brain cells to be taken seriously and isn’t that bright.
In any case, because they are both vapid to the point of being imbecilic, their speeches and attempts to speak are quite similar; they’re full of gibberish, barely intelligible, and certainly not reminiscent of Cato or Churchill.
Whether an interview or speech, short Q+A or full press conference, both of them just can’t speak without messing up. It’s embarrassing and very cringey.
Still, Kamala was apparently going for the “worst interview” ever award when she did an interview with NBC Today’s Craig Melvin. Watch it here:
One exchange was particularly bad. In it, Melvin asked “The 500 million tests that have been ordered that are going to be sent to every American, do we know when those are going out?” Kamala responds curtly, saying “Shortly. They’re going to go out shortly.”
What made the moment so bad was that, surprisingly, Melvin wasn’t willing to leave it there. He pressed, asking “Next week?” Kamala, appearing unsure of her answer and unsteady in the interview, replied “They’ve been ordered. They’ve been ordered. We – I have to look at the current information. I think it’s going to be by next week. But soon. Absolutely soon. And it is a matter of urgency for us.”
Still he didn’t let go, asking “Should we have done that sooner?” Kamala again responded curtly, saying “We are doing it.” Asking again, Melvin said “But should we have done it sooner?” Kamala, acting like a doe in headlights and repeating her one line, said “We are doing it.”
It was a terrible exchange, showing everything from Kamala’s unsteadiness in interviews to lack of understanding about what’s going on.
But, sadly for America, it was far from the worst moment. That came when Melvin asked “At what point does the administration say ‘you know what, this strategy isn’t working. We’re going to change strategies.’ Six former administration officials last week wrote that open letter, urging the administration to change course, to change strategy. Is it time?” It’s a good question, and, more importantly for this, a fair one for which she should have had a prepared answer.
She apparently didn’t. Instead, she responded with a word salad of rambling gibberish, saying “It is time for us to do what we have been doing and that time is every day. Every day it is time for us to agree that there are things and tools that are available to us to slow this thing down. And so right now we know we still have a number of people, that is in the millions of Americans, that have not been vaccinated and could be vaccinated and we are urging them to get vaccinated because it will save their life.”
Anyone who can decipher that utter gibberish gets to do the instant transcript for Brandon’s speeches. Good luck.
