“Creepy Porn Lawyer” Found Guilt of Stealing Hundreds of Thousands of Dollars

Tucker Carlson famously labeled Michael Avenatti, the lawyer of Stormy Daniels, as the “creepy porn lawyer.” He was the one that helped her slander President Trump in the media, acted horribly the whole time, and generally made a fool of himself. Plus, he became known as the “creepy porn lawyer,” so that probably wasn’t ideal for him.

Well, now he’s not even that. Why? Because a court just found him guilty of stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars from the book proceeds of Stormy Daniels, his former client.

The two crimes he was charged with in connection with the money he stole were wire fraud and aggravated identity theft. The wire fraud charge carries a maximum sentence of 20 years and the aggravated identity theft charge carries a minimum two year sentence.

However, the creepy porn lawyer won’t be sentenced until May 24th, though he has been ordered to turn himself in by 5 pm on Monday, the 7th.

The creepy porn lawyer, who decided to represent himself in the trial, something many say is quite foolish, gave a brief statement after the guilty verdict was read, saying “I’m very disappointed. I look forward to a full adjudication of all the issues. Thank you.”

He also, after the trial was finally over and a verdict reached, said “I was her advocate, I was her champion. I put everything on the line. I wanted to help her. According to the government, Michael Avenatti could never have believed that he had the right to be paid. That is ludicrous, and it is not supported by the evidence.

Clark Brewster, the new creepy porn lawyer that’s representing Stormy Daniels, also had his two cents on the trial, saying this to Fox Business, which reported on the trial’s conclusion:

The text communications between Stormy and Mr Avenatti in real time was overwhelming proof of his deceit and embezzlement. The forgery of her name and his concealed directive to wire the money to him was irrefutable,

Still, Mr Avenatti possessed the uncanny ability to steadfastly deny the crimes and persuade others he was entitled to the embezzled funds. Stormy is pleased that the justice system worked.

Despite ending up badly for the original creepy porn lawyer, the trial was murky enough that the jury spent fifteen hours deliberating and, at one point, one juror wrote a note to the judge claiming that another juror was basing her decision on emotion, not the facts.

Though the creepy porn lawyer attempted to use that to get the judge to declare a mistrial, Judge Furman instead just reiterated to the jury that the verdict must be based on the facts presented at trial, not emotions or feelings one way or another.

Still, it took the jury a long while to decide on the verdict as they had trouble deciding on the wire fraud charge.

However, they eventually decided that the creepy porn lawyer was guilty, so now he just has to wait and see how many years of his twenty-year sentence he’ll have to serve.
