Rand Paul has it out for Fauci, and for good reason. Whereas Rand Paul is focused on American greatness and individual liberty, Fauci the lying, wizened bureaucrat is much more focused on TV appearances and forcing others to bend the knee and comply with his random, tyrannical diktats.
So, the two have a very poor relationship, as can be seen anytime Fauci and Rand clash during hearings; Rand always wins, but Fauci has a way of turning what should be a simple question from the senator into a battleground.
Well, while Fauci is likely looking for the next leftist outlet to appear on to further boost his ego, Senator Rand Paul is looking ahead to the future and determining what would be the best avenue of attack for taking on the public health tyrant.
Now, he’s apparently found it, or at least found a strategy that he thinks will be effective in helping him fight and defeat Fauci. He, according to MSN, is now saying that the GOP will subpoena Fauci when it retakes Congress in the 2022 red wave. Specifically, when appearing on Lisa Boothe’s podcast, he said:
“If we win in November, if I’m chairman of a committee, if I have subpoena power, we’ll go after every one of [Fauci’s] records. We’ll have an investigator go through this piece by piece because we don’t need this to happen again.”
Senator Paul has good reason to be making threats; he is an important member of the Senate Health, Education, Labor & Pensions Committee. When Republicans sweep the 2022 elections and retake the Senate, he could be made chairman of the committee, which would give him serious power with which to go after Fauci and his pension.
While many GOP politicians speak ill of Fauci without actually doing anything of substance to expose him or confront him, Sen. Paul is one of the few who has become known for brilliantly tearing him apart during hearings.
One example is when he said “[T]he idea that a government official like yourself would claim unilaterally to represent science and that any criticism of you would be considered a criticism of science itself is quite dangerous…It is cheap politics & it is reprehensible.”

Senator Paul has also taken on Fauci in the news, as when he appeared on Fox News and said “Because you are 1,000 times more likely to die if you are 80 than if you are 10, this is a huge mistake. It’s an unforgivable mistake by Fauci, and it’s one of the reasons why we need to quit taking his advice. He needs to be dismissed from office. Because he is telling you things that aren’t true.”
Additionally, this isn’t the first time that Sen. Paul has vowed to take on Fauci by subpoenaing him and all his records. For example, when appearing on a show with his father, Dr. Ron Paul, he said “I will be chairman of a committee in the Senate. We will use the subpoena power to bring forth all the records.”
So, it looks like Sen. Paul is serious about this; he’s ready and willing to take on Fauci in a serious way just as soon as he is able.
