The Deep State, that amorphous collection of intelligence agents, “law enforcement” officials, career bureaucrats, longtime politicos, and media hacks, was a continual thorn in the side of the Trump presidency.
His conversations and details about his plans were leaked continually, those responsible for keeping the president’s information secure leaking like a sieve instead.
His internet traffic was (allegedly) captured, falsified, and handed off by Clinton Campaign hacks, used by the leftist media and its intel friends to falsely present the president as a Russian asset.
Then there was the fact that every time he tried to get something done, every time he tried passing reforms that would help the average American, the Deep State blocked him. Career bureaucrats refused to follow orders or otherwise slow-walked reforms, activist judges struck down his policies, and longtime politicians voted in favor of the elite rather than the average American.
In short, the Deep State was (as could be expected) a massive problem for Team Trump. So, in his recent Florence, South Carolina rally, he sounded off on the Deep State and gave a major plan for confronting it. Watch him here:
BREAKING: Trump calls to make *every* executive branch employee fireable by the President of the United States

As you can hear, Trump, speaking about the Deep State and how he plans on taking it on, said:
“We will pass critical reforms, making every executive branch employee fireable by the president of the United States. The deep state must and will be brought to heel.”
That would be a massive move, a dramatic shift in how the government bureaucrats are treated.
Right now, they have stable, cushy jobs. Despite making a relatively large salary, many government bureaucrats have quite a bit of job security, even if they do a not-so-great job. Just look at all the lazy, long “serving” people working for agencies in DC. Not exactly the sharpest tools in the shed, even if they are certainly tools.
Yet, despite being bad at their jobs and paid quite well, they have no fears about losing their jobs; it’s famously difficult to fire a government employee.
What that means, in the context of the Deep State, is that even those working against the president and his agenda can’t be forced out, leading to problems when the president wants to get something done that’s unpopular with the bureaucracy.
Well, if Trump got his way, that would be all over; the lazy, do-nothing bureaucrats would be swatted away by a Trump administration, the agents of the Deep State fired by a president whose four years in office taught him just what they were up to.
Critics will contend that Trump is tyrannically expanding the powers of the presidency. That’s not true, though it does appear that the president’s powers would be expanded by this.
Rather, Trump would be giving the presidency a tool to combat the leakers, Deep State hacks, and others that abuse their power to weaken the president’s agenda if they happen to disagree with it. That’s a win for democracy.
