What’s an offense horrible enough to earn you condemnation from PETA, an acronym that certainly doesn’t stand for “People for Eating Tasty Animals”? Apparently, enjoying a glass of chocolate milk is now enough.
That revelation came when Elon Musk posted one of his typically trollish tweets, simply saying:
Chocolate milk is insanely good. Just had some.

That’s all he said. All it was was a throwaway tweet about chocolate milk, something that wouldn’t raise any eyebrows in a sane society.
But a sane society ours is not, so Elon’s haters freaked out, particularly the looney leftists that run PETA. Those crazies decided to freak out and compare his beverage of choice to driving a “gas guzzler,” saying:
Drinking cow’s milk is like driving a gas guzzler. The dairy industry is one of the worst contributors to the climate catastrophe. What happened to caring about the environment?
Now chocolate oat milk we can get behind 😋

That ridiculous tweet caused both animal lovers and Elon supporters to start attacking PETA in the comments, to which it responded by bickering with people on Twitter about whether gross oat “milk” (read: highly processed, industrial sludge) or delicious cow milk is better for the environment.
One animal lover pointed out that while PETA is attacking farmers for raising animals, at least the stars can still be seen in rural areas, unlike the pollution-spewing cities that frequently get a pass from the greens:
Why does everything farmers do contribute to climate change? The big cities where you can’t see the stars because of how much nasty stuff is being released into the air is not talked about. At least in rural areas, we can still see the stars. Animals are NOT causing climate change
PETA responded in the typical leftist way: with a study they themselves wrote that supposedly proves their point.
Raising animals for food requires massive amounts of land, food, energy, and water. The best thing that we can all do to help combat the climate crisis is to go vegan. Learn more:

Another commenter jumped in to defend Elon and point out that he’s doing far more than most anyone else for the climate, so he can enjoy a nice glass of chocolate milk if he wants:
Putting people down for not doing EVERYTHING they can to support a certain issue is annoying and makes many people not want to do ANYTHING just for spite. Food for thought.
PETA, of course, didn’t buy that argument. To such radicals, you have to do everything they say to be something other than abjectly evil.
If Musk was doing “everything” he could to help the planet, he certainty wouldn’t be consuming cow’s milk. The best thing that we can all do to help combat the climate catastrophe is to #GoVegan 🌱

the whole thing is ridiculous. Milk is natural and has been consumed by humans for thousands of years, whereas oat milk is an industrial sludge made in factories. Drink real milk.
Musk, however, hasn’t yet responded, which is unfortunate because he surely would have had a hilarious response.
