Could Mayor Pete or Kamala Harris take on former President Donald Trump or current Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and win in 2024? No. Obviously not. Mayor Pete is the guy that went on paternity leave rather than manage the supply chain crisis his department (the Department of Transportation) should have handled and Kamala is, well, Kamala. Enough said.
But that common-sense realization didn’t make it into “The View” host Sunny Hostin’s thick skull: she somehow thinks not only that both Mayor Pete and Cackling Kamala have a chance against Trump or DeSantis, but that either candidate would “obliterate” the two leaders of the MAGA movement.
Hostin began her uninformed discussion of the political scene by calling DeSantis a “fascist”, saying:
“I hope it’s not DeathSantis over in Florida, because I think he’s a fascist. I think he handled COVID miserably, I think he is a fascist and a bigot.”
Joy Behar then jumped in, ridiculously saying “Those are his good points!”
No, they weren’t. But you can watch it here:
Speculating on who could be the GOP nominee in 2024, The View’s Sunny Hostin lashes out at “DeathSantis.”

But Hostin the ignoramus didn’t end it there. She went on to say that Trump wasn’t that young compared to Biden, not taking into account the energy differential between the two men, described talk about Biden’s age as “ageism”, and then said she supported greasy Gavin Newsom because he’s “good to look at”, saying:
“If the former twice-impeached disgraced president thinks he’s such a young spring chicken, I mean, he’s going to be 78 when Joe Biden is 81. And so I don’t like this ageism argument.
“I do think there are plenty of Democrats that have tons of verve and energy. I like Gavin Newsom because he’s really pretty to look at and I think he does a great job in California.”
Still she didn’t stop talking, instead continuing her rant and looking ever more the fool. It was then that she got to her point that Mayor Pete or Kamala could beat Trump or DeSantis.
Even Joy Behar seemed surprised by that, asking if Hostin really thought they could win, to which Hostin responded by saying:
“Well, I would vote for them. I hope this country is ready for something like that. I think the brain power alone would just obliterate Trump or DeathSantis.”
It would be funny if it weren’t so concerning. Anyone who thinks cackling Kamala has enough “brain power” to “obliterate” DeSantis or Trump probably has even less “brain power” than even Kamala the vapid ignoramus.
Further, Hostin’s rant flies in the face of fact: polling shows that Trump, for example, would blast cackling Kamala out of the water, defeating her by 7 points. So, fortunately, America’s aren’t as far to the left or brain dead as Sonny Hostin, even if things like the 2020 election make it appear that way.
Kamala made news for being more unpopular than Dick Cheney was at the height of the Iraq War after he shot someone in the face…she and her cackles are not going to “obliterate” Trump.
