RINO Governor Stabs Trump, MAGA Base in Back, Makes Ridiculous Claim about Jan. 6th on Fox

As the RINOs come out of the woodwork to side against Trump now that the Democrats are putting on their ridiculously scripted January 6th hearing, the closest America has come to kangaroo courts of the Soviet style, they’re seemingly competing over not just who can use their peal-clutching over a trespass in the Capitol over a year ago to get the most media attention, but who can do the most to try and tear down Trump in his hour of need.

Joining the circling hyenas of the Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger sort is Governor Asa Hutchinson of Arkansas, another ruby-red state politician who just doesn’t have the spine to stand by the man his constituents voted for.

Hutchinson, appearing on Fox News Channel’s “Fox News Sunday” and telling guest host Brett Baier that he thinks Trump is “politically” and “morally” responsible for January 6th.

Speaking on that, Hutchinson told Baier that:

Trump is politically, morally responsible for much of what has happened, but in terms of criminal liability, I think the committee has a long way to go to establish that.

Like Don Bacon, another red stater who attacked Trump over January 6th, much as the Democrats want, Hutchinson was unwilling to rule out holding Trump criminally responsible.

He then went on to say that it’s time for the GOP to move on from Trump, the one man who has been unrepentant in standing up for conservative values and who has shown that he understands how to fight and defeat the modern left, saying:

I hope that the future of the Republican Party is different than former President Trump’s leadership. I hope we move in a different direction. I believe that what happened on January 6th is a lot at his feet. It was wrong for our country and for him to continue to push that theory I agree is the wrong direction for the Republican Party.

I think there is many Republicans that are looking for an offramp, new opportunities to find a leadership in the future. Republicans need to do a lot of soul searching as to what is the right thing here, what is the right thing to say for our party, for our democracy, for our future and not simply appeal to the basest instincts of some of our base.

So not only did he attack Trump, but he also attacked the MAGA base, turning on them because he’d rather lose in a civilized manner than win in a contentious one.

Governor Hutchinson, for context, first stabbed the MAGA base in the back when he refused to stand up for conservative principles and sign a bill banning surgeries for transgender youths, a bill passed by the conservative state’s legislature.

So that’s the sort of “man” who’s attacking Trump: a  Swamp Creature type that won’t even stand up for conservative principles and policies when given a golden opportunity by his legislature to do so.
