USMGay: Marines Go Full Woke for “Pride Month”, Get Roasted for It

How are the United States Marines planning on defeating our enemies? By throwing copies of Ibrahim X. Kendie’s How to Be an Anti-Racist at the Red Chinese ships and Russian tanks, apparently.

Though that’s a bit of an exaggeration (though perhaps not overly much for the branch behind the infamous flight suits for pregnant women), the Marines have gone fully woke, as anyone on Twitter could see on June 1st when the Marine Corps Twitter account posted this tweet and ridiculous picture of a gay helmet:

Throughout June, the USMC takes #Pride in recognizing and honoring the contributions of our LGBTQ service members. We remain committed to fostering an environment free from discrimination, and defend the values of treating all equally, with dignity and respect.

#PrideMonth #USMC

Yes, the United States Marine Corps, the service once famous for being full of tough as nails “leathernecks” that could defeat any enemy, fight against nearly any odds, overcome whatever obstacle America’s enemies put in its path, that service is now championing wokeness on Twitter.

One Twitter user, perhaps summing up how many Americans feel the best of anyone, said:

“Maybe focus on what’s actually important to the nation’s defense. China and Russia are bolstering up their ranks with masculinity understanding it’s necessity, while we seem to be celebrating sexual choices and gender changes in our military.”

Indeed. Maybe, at a time when Red China seems poised to take Taiwan and the Russkies are slashing through a country we insist on supporting in Eastern Europe, it would be better if the armed services focused on winning wars rather than wokeness, particularly since we haven’t won a war since 1991.

But that was just one comment. Many others sounded off too, with these being some of the best tweets on the topic:

How long till they use marines to crush parents protesting school boards?

F*** out of here with this. We don’t take political sides, and we don’t engage in social commentary. We kill the enemy… period.

June is also PTSD awareness month, which the U.S. Marines have not yet tweeted about.

This absolutely sickening to see!!! Not necessary to go stupid on this.. why are you breaking Marines out by sexual orientation?? No was gives a f*** who is f***ing who!! Focus on training your Marines and winning battles. Enough of the bullsh**.

This is an insult to all Marines who died for America.

They didn’t die for the Corps to virtue-signal.

The job of the @usmc is to win wars. Full stop. Trying to make the Marines woke distracts from that mission.

When I was in the Marines we had one mantra that fostered an environment free from discrimination:

“We all wear green and we all bleed red”. That’s all we need.

Could you just kill our enemies, please?

Want the Marines to crush our enemies? Too bad. They’re busy thinking about how to crush you for being a conservative.
