WATCH: Trump-Backed Blake Masters Skewers Dem Opponent for Refusing to Secure the Border

Appearing on Fox News Channel’s “Hannity” to speak with host Sean Hannity about the Senate race in Arizona and rip into his opponent, former astronaut Mark Kelly, GOP Senate Candidate Blake Masters hit Kelly hard for not working to secure the border despite the obvious threat posed to Arizonians by an open border and millions of migrants, many of whom are connected to gangs or the cartels, streaming across it.

As you can hear in the video, Hannity is the one who kicked things off and brought the border debate up, asking:

Let’s go to the issue of the border and start there because Mark Kelly again and again had an opportunity to help secure the border and he’s failed to do so. Why?

Responding, Masters hit Kelly hard by exposing his failure on the border issue, telling Hannity:

He has no independence of mind. He promised voters he would be independent, he swore he would be a moderate. A lot of people believed that. For the last two years, Mark Kelly has been voting in lockstep for Joe Biden’s agenda. Apparently he’s just fine with this wide open southern border because he hasn’t done a single thing to stop it.

Masters has made the border and the threat posed by the globalists and their allies in China the main cornerstones of his campaign. Tying them together in the “about” section of his website, for example, Masters noted the combined threat that those different, but similar, entities pose to the American way of life, saying:

America is in decline and the world is a dangerous place. Blake uniquely understands the modern threats that we face.

At home, we see an unholy alliance between Big Government, Big Tech and Big Business, who collude to wreak havoc on our economy, destroy our border, impose their radically liberal ideology on our culture, and censor any dissent. Blake uniquely gets how this regime, working hand in hand with the Democrats, is weaponizing technology to destroy America as we know it.

Abroad, we see the menace of authoritarian countries like China. Blake has an unrivaled understanding of how China uses technology to not only control and terrorize its own citizens, but also to steal our intellectual property and wage digital warfare against America.

As a father, Blake’s #1 priority is to ensure America (and Arizona!) remains the best place in the world to raise a family. To do that, we need to make sure America is still recognizable by the time our children are grown. Blake will lead as we fight for our culture.

Further, in his WinRed ad, Masters makes the border situation one of his main points, saying: “We need to stop illegal immigration, rebuild the American middle class, and take back the culture from far-left activists.”
