Appearing on Chris Cuomo’s podcast, the “Chris Cuomo Project,” ABC’s The View’s Whoopi Goldberg got as radical as ever when discussing abortion and pregnancies, going so far as to refer to those unborn babies as a “toxic thing” inside the mother at one point in the interview.
Watch her here:
As you can hear in the video, Whoopi, going on a rant about the Supreme Court’s Dobbs decision and the abortion topic, said:
“Well, I think it is negative that you change the law that’s 50 years old that you didn’t do enough homework about to see what the consequences were going to be for women. Not black women or Asian women or Hispanics. Just women in general.
“You changed the law without even having the information of what that means for someone who has a birth difficulty in the pregnancy that requires that they not keep this toxic thing in.”
One suspects that the Supreme Court did its “homework,” whatever Whoopi the clucking hen from “The View” says about them.
In any case, Whoopi then continued, getting more radical and saying:
“You think because there’s a heartbeat [that’s enough] — you’re not thinking about [whether] the child [is] viable.
“Does this child have a brain and hands and arms? You’re not thinking about any of that — you’re not thinking about how did this little girl get pregnant. You’ve made no space.”
So would a double amputee person not count as a person to Whoopi? Given the no hand and arms reasoning, it would appear so, though that’s not how she intended the comment. Perhaps she should have done her homework before making it.
She also claimed that SCOTUS “didn’t even have the courtesy to sit down with a doctor and say, ‘What are the various things that this entails?’”
Whoopi isn’t the first leftist to use such radical words when referring to abortion, pregnancies, and fetuses. A pro-abortion protester in 2019 referred to fetuses as “parasites,” as you can view here:
By “parasites” they mean unborn babies in the womb.

Even Snopes admitted that that sign was probably real, reporting that:
A widely shared photograph that appeared to show two women holding a sign that read “Parasites have no rights” was authentic, and its message was not digitally altered. The photograph appears to have been taken at a 19 May protest against abortion restrictions in Huntsville, Ala.
As further proof that the slogan was not digitally added or manipulated, we note that the same three women, one of them holding an identical sign, were also included in a second photograph published by the Alabama news website AL.com.
But those were random protesters at some small event. Whoopi is something of a major figure thanks to the number of lonely wine moms (that’s just a joke, fact-checkers) that watch The View, so her use of the term “toxic thing” in referring to a fetus represents a dramatic escalation in the mainstream rhetoric regarding abortion and fetuses.
