Whoopi Goldberg from “The View” is leaving Twitter because she doesn’t agree with Elon Musk’s plan to make a safe place for free speech. Goldberg says that Musk’s decision to ban “comedian” Kathy Griffin for making a fake account in his name was the last straw for her. Monday, she told everyone on “The View”:
“I’m getting off today because I just feel like it’s so messy, and I’m tired of now having certain kinds of attitudes blocked now getting back on,” Goldberg said. “So I’m gonna get out, and if it settles down enough and I feel more comfortable maybe I’ll come back.”
“But as of tonight, I’m done with Twitter,” she stated in a demanding tone.
So there you go. The expert who said Jill Biden should be the U.S. Surgeon General because she thought Dr. Biden was a real doctor has left Twitter. Take that, Elon.

During the segment, Goldberg’s co-host Sunny Hostin said that she uses Twitter to follow “legal scholars” and “thought leaders.” However, Musk is making it hard for her to do that. It’s important to remember that Hostin never said that she understood the scholars she reads. Because no one would believe something like that.
We don’t think Hostin is the smartest person on the internet. Last week, Hostin said the following about white women:
“What’s also surprising to me is the abortion issue,” Hostin said, to the delight of her co-hosts. “I read a poll just yesterday that white, Republican, suburban women are now going to vote Republican. It’s almost like roaches voting for Raid, right?”
Whoopi Goldberg is one of a long list of “woke” people who are leaving Twitter because of Musk’s purchase. Stephen King, a horror writer and Twitter activist, says he’ll be next if Musk tries to charge him for his famous blue check. Oh no, don’t go, Mr. King.
Whoopi Goldberg couldn’t stand the idea of having different opinions on a platform other than her own. I say good riddance. If she never comes back it will be too soon.
