In an embarassing moment at the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) award show, woke actress Jessica Chastain took a tumble while stepping up the stairs to get her award, providing one brief flash of entertainment in an otherwise dismally boring ceremony (no wonder these things go unwatched nowadays),.
The incident wasn’t captured on the television transmission but was captured on several other cameras, and those videos have since gone viral. Chastain appeared to be unhurt and even made a self-deprecating reference to the fall during her acceptance speech.
“I tripped on the stairs — but I had two very handsome men helping me up so that wasn’t so bad,” she joked afterwards. There were surprisingly no gasps in the Hollywood audience when she just assumed her two rescuers’ gender identities.

The incident reminded many of a similar one from years ago when Jennifer Lawrence took a tumble during the SAG show, as you can watch here:

Speaking years later after the incident, Lawrence admitted she was hung up on the episode. “I was ready for it. I was very nervous and also very superstitious. I didn’t want to acknowledge the possibility that I would win. I didn’t want to write down a speech,” Lawrence said in a podcast several years later. “I had everything in my head. I was very, very nervous but I was ready. All of the adrenaline clears out and they call my name and I’m elated and I’m in shock. And then I fell, and it erased everything from my mind. My full brain went blank. I can look back at it now fondly but for a very long time the fall thing was very sensitive.”
It also, of course, reminded people of our senile president being unable to make it up the stairs of Air Force One without looking like he is slipping on banana peels in a Tom and Jerry cartoon, as you can watch here:

IT HAPPENED AGAIN: Joe Biden trips as he boards Air Force One in Poland.

The New York Post noted that this latest fall abroad marked the third time the ancient president had trouble mastering the stairs. The Post wrote:
In May of last year, Biden appeared to briefly lose his balance as he walked up the Air Force One steps at Andrews Air Force Base en route to Illinois. On that occasion, the commander-in-chief caught himself in time to prevent a tumble and gripped the handrail tightly with his right hand as he walked to the plane.
The following month, the president staggered again while mounting the steps before flying to Los Angeles to attend the Summit of the Americas — and record an interview with “Jimmy Kimmel Live.”
Chastain recently “starred” in the unwatched movie “The 355,” which was released to little fanfare and seen by few people in the summer of 2022. Featuring an all-female cast and being quite woke, people hated it, as Boundign Into Comics reported, saying:
The all-female, ultra-progressive The 355 has hit theaters, and it’s already destined to end up as another lackluster action flop, the same as The Matrix Resurrections.
Based on a (very) loose connection to a supposed female spy during the American Revolution, the film cobbles together a handful of female stars led by Jessica Chastain, as they work together to prevent a new World War from breaking out.
