Recent Harvard graduate Emma Heussner, who also works for the Daily Caller as their social media director, walked out of the woke university’s commencement speech after she’d heard enough from Joe Biden’s corrupt Attorney General Merrick Garland.
“Even overhearing his speech as I walked out, it was pretty rich to hear about how ‘awful’ our country is,” Heussner explained in a subsequent interview.
“Just walked out of harvard’s graduation because I didn’t want to listen to merrick garland talk about himself for 30 minutes,” she wrote.

Heussner immediately shot to new heights on Twitter, where she has since grown her small account into one boasting over almost 15 thousand new followers. The feedback she received was either from mean, clueless leftists who actually think Garland is doing a good and fair job or supporters of freedom who applauded her decision to stand up and walk out.
“I walked out of my own graduation and somehow you people found a way to get mad about it lmfao touch grass,” she responded to one hater in particular.
“Thank you for making me smile. it gives me hope for the future. Congratulations on your graduation,” one user commented.
“I appreciate that unlike many, you “stood up” for what you believe in,” said another.
“Not only Congratulations on such a great accomplishment that will impact your life for such a long time. And only good will come from it of doing something so awesome for your future. Also, Congrats on graduation! That rocks too!” praised a third.
Speaking about why she ditched the ceremony, Heussner said, “I had been sitting there for more than two hours listening to people speak in Latin, give cordial formalities. By the time Merrick Garland got on stage, I was so anxious to leave and meet up with my parents. They’re the ones who helped me accomplish what I have and supported me to get to Harvard in the first place.”
Speaking about the incident a year later, Hessner told Fox News Digital that she would “absolutely” do it again. Speaking on that, she said, “Conservatives are coined as the ‘silent majority’ and look where that’s gotten us. Students and their parents are now fighting for regular, not sexualized, curriculum in K-12.”
She then added, “As long as conservatives are silent, we are compliant with how far we let the left push their agenda.”
She also said, “Universities [should] be places that teach students how to think and challenge our beliefs. They should encourage students to debate and learn from other perspectives.”
She added that she was honoring her parents and values by ditching Garland’s speech, saying, “standing up for myself and my beliefs by walking out on Merrick Garland’s speech was a way for me to honor the time, money and energy spent earning my degree — while also honoring those who actually supported me throughout school.”
