An air traveler is going viral after he absolutely lost his mind over a crying baby aboard a Southwest Airlines Flight headed to Orlando.
The clip’s unidentified passenger – along with the rest of the flight – apparently endured 45 minutes of non-stop crying from the young child when they had probably expected the only non-stop thing to be the flight’s leg from their point of origin.
As NBC New York described, the internet’s latest hullaballoo aboard an aircraft has garnered massive views online. The local media outlet wrote:
The now-viral clip, which has racked up more than 134,000 views on TikTok, shows a man screaming at a flight attendant for a crying baby on the plane in a video titled, “Belligerent passenger causes diversion.”
For three minutes of the nearly four-minute video, a fellow passenger records the passenger’s tirade directed toward two flight attendants. TODAY does not independently know what occurred before the moments captured on video.
The angry man, who is not identified in the clip, uses profanity more than 20 times toward Southwest crew and fellow passengers, to express his disgust in a baby crying.

Clearly, the man is in the wrong. Babies cry. End of discussion. That’s just what happen, as any parent or reasonable person who has once left their house knows. Who shouldn’t be doing the crying is a grown man. Several social media comments said something similar.
“I always wonder like do you THINK the parents want a crying child?? OBVIOUSLY NO!!!” wrote one comment on TikTok. “We are HYPER aware our child is screaming!”
“If you can’t handle the sound of a crying baby or toddler, maybe air travel or being in public isn’t for you. Personally, I’d be embarrassed by my inability to cope with something so basic that happens all the time. But I just believe that’s part of being a functioning adult,” one commenter observed.
And what makes it all the more ridiculous is the man’s screaming about the tolerance of the other passengers for the baby’s crying being about race, saying that if it was a black baby people would be upset.
For one, it seems like he’s annoyed because it was a non-black baby that’s crying, so there’s the usual hypocrisy of a race-obsessed lib embedded in that argument.
But, beyond that, would anyone really care if the race of the unseen, crying baby were different? Almost certainly not. It’s a crying baby, that’s just what babies do, regardless of race. And, anyway, it’s a crying baby…who can tell the race of a baby from it’s crying alone? I certainly couldn’t while listening to the video.
If there’s one lesson to take away from the clip, it’s that people are crazy, so any interaction you have with the general public risks turning into pure chaos as said crazy people freak out about something that seems normal to people who aren’t crazy.
