California Democratic Congressman Adam “Shifty” Schiff face during Monday evening’s Senatorial debate after getting called out for being a massive liar by his GOP competitor, Steve Garvey is absolutely priceless. It’s about time someone confronted him, directly, in public, where he cannot run away and dodge questions or comments made about the many, many lies and half-truths he’s told the American people, especially as it relates to former President Donald Trump and the allegations made against him that he colluded with Russia to win the 2016 election.
There’s nothing quite as satisfying as seeing a slimeball get what they deserve, and boy oh boy, has Schiff had it coming for a long, long time.
via The Daily Caller:
Garvey might have retired from professional baseball, but that didn’t stop him from hitting a serious slugger into the heart of Schiff’s political career Monday, as they faced off for the late Dianne Feinstein’s open seat. During one of his rebuttals, shared on Twitter, Garvey turned to Schiff and said, “I think you’ve been censured for lying.”
The silence only hung in the air for a moment, but it felt like an age. “I was censured for standing up to a corrupt president,” Schiff said, gasping like a fish out of water as Garvey spoke over him. Garvey was given the space to continue, calling out Schiff and his colleagues for never listening to the American public while trying to divide us down arbitrary demographic lines.
Then, in what could have been a non-moment, Schiff decided to step back up to the plate.
Adam Schiff gets called out during the CA Senate debate by Republican Steve Garvey for lying about Russian collusion:
Garvey: "I believe you were censured for lying."

“I was just called a liar by Mr. Garvey,” Schiff remarked, once again spouting out the myth that he was censured because he alone was brave enough to stand up to former President Donald Trump. “And you know something, I would do it all over again!”
At this point in the debate, Schiff decided to go on a prattling rant against Republicans which seemingly left Garvey on the brink of gut-busting laughter.
“Sir, you lied to 300 million people, you can’t take that back,”Garvey stated in response to the mad ramblings of Schiff as he continued to try and play the martyr for the television cameras. In the words of the immortal Michael Scott, “Boom. Roasted.”
What Schiff doesn’t seem to grasp is that he isn’t fooling anyone. At this point, most Americans know and believe he was lying through his teeth about Trump and the whole mess with Russia from the very beginning. So much information has come out proving the former president’s innocence that most sane individuals no longer even think about the fiasco, other than in terms of the corruption Hillary Clinton and her minions participated in to try and steal an election. And that’s what she tried to do, make no mistake about it.
Sure, it may not have been voter fraud, but attempting to dig up massive amounts of dirt on your opponent to ruin their chances of getting elected or to disqualify them from the race, thus not allowing the American people to choose their own leadership is about as dastardly as it gets for a politician.
