Four masked thieves executed a bold robbery at Menashe & Sons Jewelers in Seattle, Washington, on Thursday. The robbers took around $2 million in jewelry in just 90 seconds, making off with luxury items such as Rolex watches and an emerald necklace. During the incident, they threatened employees with a stun gun and bear spray, forcing them to retreat to a nearby gym for help.

Surveillance footage captured the entire event, revealing how the thieves smashed the glass front door with a hammer before emptying the display cases. “You could still hear like a lot of breaking glass and banging around and stuff, so they were in there around noon still robbing the store while everyone was on the phone calling the cops,” employee Bret Gibson recounted. Despite the chaos, no one was injured during the incident, a small relief amid the distress.

Josh Menashe, the vice president of the family-run store, expressed the emotional toll on staff following the brazen daylight theft. “We’re pretty shook up as a staff,” he stated, indicating the serious impact this crime has taken on the business and its employees. The store will be closed for some time as they deal with the aftermath.

Currently, no arrests have been made, and the suspects are still at large. This incident highlights the growing concern over rising crime rates in urban areas, leading many to question safety and security in their cities. As this story unfolds, it emphasizes the risks faced by local businesses and their employees in the face of violent crime.
