The encounter, which occurred on Saturday evening at a 7-Eleven, began with a gunpoint robbery in the parking lot. Helen Kessel, just 19, has been identified by police as the suspect in this incident.
Initially, Kessel followed through with plans to rob the convenience store after targeting a customer. As the suspect was inside, a key moment unfolded outside. One of the robbery victims, fed up with the situation, decided to retrieve his own firearm from his vehicle. When Kessel exited the store, he was met not with a clear escape but with the unexpected presence of the armed victim.

The victim then held Kessel at gunpoint while waiting for police to arrive.
