From January to September 2025, Warnock allocated around $360,000 to security services provided by Executive Protection Agencies, LLC, an Atlanta security firm. The exact nature of the services remains unclear, but the firm touts its experience in protecting “political figures” with both armed and unarmed options. When combined with prior expenditures, Warnock’s total security spending has surpassed $2.7 million since December 2020.
This juxtaposition between Warnockâs advocacy for stricter gun laws and his reliance on private security raises significant questions. His legislative record is marked by a commitment to gun control initiatives. He has co-sponsored measures to ban assault weapons, advocated for universal background checks, and supported federal red flag laws. Additionally, he has argued for tougher penalties for illegal firearm sellers and stricter licensing requirements. In a 2014 sermon, he criticized “Stand Your Ground” laws that allow individuals to use lethal force without first attempting to retreat. During a September event, he expressed concern over the impact of mass shootings, particularly on children. “What trauma are we visiting upon our children when we tell them the best thing we can do is to teach them how to hide?” he remarked, lamenting a culture that appears to accept mass shootings as a grim normalcy.
In addition to his security expenses, Warnock’s campaign has also spent thousands on luxury transportation services. Reports indicate that over $3,000 went to Carey Limousine, a D.C.-based firm that prides itself on providing an understated luxury experience. This luxurious approach underscores the contrast between his political platform promoting gun control and the high-end lifestyle that his campaign expenditures insinuate.
Warnock’s office and campaign have not responded to inquiries regarding the motivations behind their spending choices. His significant outlays for security and luxury transport may leave voters reconsidering the true implications of his gun control advocacy.
