Even worse, a recall has made the buses a fire hazard, preventing them from being charged indoors. Larry Behrens from Power the Future pointed out, “Taxpayers were sold an $8 million ‘solution’ that can’t operate in cold weather when the home for these buses is in New England.” It’s a staggering oversight that raises serious questions about the decision-making process behind this initiative.
