Immigration enforcement agents are facing unprecedented threats and assaults, a situation that has grown alarmingly since the beginning of 2025. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) recently revealed disturbing trends, reporting an astonishing 8,000% increase in death threats and a 1,300% rise in physical attacks against agents since President Donald Trump took office. This surge in violence coincides with a new tactic used by activists: doxxing, the act of leaking personal information to harass or intimidate individuals.

In one chilling example from Wake County, North Carolina, a federal immigration agent encountered a doxxing incident directly in his neighborhood. Postcards addressed to his neighbors warned them of his occupation as an ICE agent, declaring, “Beware, your neighbor is an ICE agent. Immigration enforcement lives next door.” This postcard featured an obvious mock-up of an ICE badge, designed to alarm and provoke fear among the officer’s community.

DHS Assistant Secretary Lauren Bis shed light on the severe impact this doxxing has on ICE agents and their families. She stated, “The men and women of ICE are fathers and mothers, sons and daughters. They get up every morning to try and make our communities safer.” At the core of her message was a plea for understanding and respect for the duties these agents perform to ensure public safety, echoing a sentiment that they only wish to return home to their loved ones after a day of work.

The postcards are not just isolated incidents. Evidence shows a broader campaign, as they were sent using the USPS’s Presorted First-Class service. This means that hundreds, if not thousands, of similar warnings are being circulated nationwide. It reflects a calculated effort to intimidate and undermine the morale of federal agents who face danger as part of their daily responsibilities.

Further complicating the situation, reports surfaced of an alleged leak involving sensitive data on 4,500 ICE and U.S. Border Patrol employees, reportedly made by a DHS whistleblower. This information fell into the hands of an Irish national who operates a website known as the “ICE list.” This site has become a repository of identified agents and their personal details, intensifying the risks they face.

The shooting death of Renee Good served as a grim backdrop to these events, prompting a reaction from the far-left networks that have contributed to the vilification of ICE agents. Skinner, the site’s administrator, implied that his actions were a response to heightened scrutiny around doxxing, emphasizing that the site’s initial purpose was misunderstood.

These developments prompt a significant conversation about the safety and integrity of those on the front lines of immigration enforcement. The doxxing tactics employed by activists strike at the heart of not only individual agents but their families and communities as well. As the rhetoric intensifies and threats escalate, calls for a return to civility in discourse surrounding immigration enforcement become more urgent.

In light of these revelations, all individuals receiving similar doxxing material are urged to report it to ICE’s tip line. The safety of enforcement agents is paramount, and the collective anxiety regarding their well-being reflects the bigger picture of safety within the realm of law enforcement.
