In a disturbing incident from Pitt County, North Carolina, two Mexican nationals, Zaid Mayen-Esteban and Jonathan David Garcia-Larios, have been arrested following a shocking home invasion. On February 11, they allegedly invaded an innocent victim’s home, wielding a sharp-edged weapon, and subjected him to a horrifying assault that included beating, sodomizing, and even ripping off his fingernails. Law enforcement acted quickly, with U.S. Marshals and local police apprehending both suspects just two days after the attack. They now face serious charges: assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill or inflict serious injury, burglary, kidnapping, and sodomy.
