It was an off duty Border Patrol agent using a borrowed shotgun that saved the remaining children during the horrific Uvalde massacre, not the cops who had been sitting around, acting cowardly and tazing frustrated parents.
As such, Team Biden obviously wanted a photo-op with the Border Patrol when it went to visit Uvalde. Unfortunately for Biden but fortunately for all of us that love seeing that the emperor has no clothes, Biden angered the agents and so they refused to meet with him, as Newsmax pointed out in a recent segment:

As background, Biden announced we would be visiting the scene of the tragedy to meet with the parents during a University of Delaware commencement ceremony, saying:
And now, tomorrow, I’ll be heli- — I’ll be heading to Uvalde, Texas, to meet with each of those families.
And as I speak, those parents are literally preparing to bury their children in the United States of America — to bury their children. There’s too much violence, too much fear, too much grief.
Let’s be clear: Evil came to that elementary school classroom in Texas, to that grocery store in New York, to far too many places where innocents have died.
In the face of such destructive forces, we have to stand stronger. We must stand stronger. We cannot outlaw tragedy, I know, but we can make America safer.
And so he did head to Uvalde to meet with the families. Politico quotes one parent, for example, as saying:
“It’s more than mourning. We want change. We want action. It continues to be something that happens over and over and over. A mass shooting happens. It’s on the news. People cry. Then it’s gone. Nobody cares. And then it happens again. And again.
“If there’s anything if I could tell Joe Biden, as it is, just to respect our community while he’s here, and I’m sure he will. But we need change. We need to do something about it.”
Well perhaps he respected the parents, as what he and Jill did while at the school (laying flowers, visiting a cross memorial, etc.) seems relatively tasteful, particularly for a Democrat responding to a shooting.
But he didn’t respect the Border Patrol agents, if the Newsmax report is to be believed, instead treating them like treacherous Praetorians who might assassinate him if allowed to remain armed and demanding they be disarmed for the photo-op, and so they responded as free men would: they wouldn’t meet with him for it!
As the Newsmax clip says, they came in from the field and just went home rather than meet with Biden and undergo the indignity of being disarmed. Now that’s awesome.
