In recent weeks, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth has taken a firm stance against what he deems inappropriate behavior within the ranks of military and civilian personnel. Following the assassination of Charlie Kirk, founder of Turning Point USA, the Department of War has launched nearly 300 investigations into comments made online that celebrate or mock this tragic event. This development has raised eyebrows and prompted discussions about the intersection of military conduct and political commentary.

This point has been a cornerstone of Hegseth’s tenure, amplifying a call to refocus military attention back to its core missions. In remarks made during a recent address to commanders, Hegseth asserted, “This administration has done a great deal from day one to remove the social justice, politically correct, and toxic ideological garbage that had infected our department,” emphasizing an urgent need to eliminate distractions.

Moreover, Hegseth’s condemnation of what he refers to as “identity months
