Vice President Kamala Harris and her border failures are no laughing matter to the 56 Republicans who signed a letter demanding she be replaced with someone more competent at solving the border problems that have hit record levels since former President Donald Trump left office and two Democrats took over.
Fox News released a staggering report on 56 Republicans ready to take her down.
Rep. Glenn Grothman wrote a damaging message directed to Vice President Kamala Harris, pointing out her obvious failure to visit the border: “The @VP STILL hasn’t visited the border. You can’t truly know the situation until you speak with people on the ground. I and 55 of my colleagues sent this letter to @POTUS demanding her removal from this position because 180k encounters, a 21-year high, is unacceptable.”
Grothman included a copy of the letter that he and 55 other House Republicans signed off on. This attempt to raise awareness hit the mainstream media with major news sources like Fox News picking up the story, alarming, and reminding, Americans of Harris’ ability to visit other places, but not make her way to the border of US and Mexico.
Fox News reported more on Grothman’s comments towards Harris: “Despite being in the midst of a border crisis this country has not seen in two decades, Vice President Harris has not yet shown adequate interest in observing this crisis first-hand. In the 85 days since the Vice President has been tasked with solving this crisis, she has yet to visit the border and meet with Border Patrol agents, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials and local law enforcement officials.”
Grothman’s Tweets included a picture of the signatures by the 56 House Republicans.

As for Kamala Harris, she was given the task of being the “border czar” more than 80 days ago and still has not made her way to the border of US and Mexico.
She traveled to Europe and Guatemala, but not the border to SEE first-hand the struggles and depth of the border problems that may get worse if not addressed immediately.
While Harris claims she wants to fix the root of the problem, she’s consistently and constantly criticized for not having the decency to visit the actual border so she can see just how bad it really is.
Republicans suggest that this border issue became worse once Biden and Harris took office, “particularly the rollback of Trump-era policies like border wall construction and the Migrant Protection Protocols (MPP).
Lawmakers insist that even if Kamala was to figure out the root cause of mass migration, that she still must see the problems on her own – because if she does, then maybe she would be inspired to do a lot more, a lot faster.
Rolling back Trump policies because they don’t like Trump is no way to be a vice president.
Many state if Biden and Harris had simply done NOTHING at all, and left Trump policies in place, that things would be better than they are now.
However, Americans see what happened when Joe Biden and Kamala Harris took office and it’s a complete disaster with migrants living in hotels, overcrowded facilities, and allegedly even bigger cages.
But reader’s probably won’t hear Democrats talk about it now that Democrats are the ones DOING it.
