One question. If you’re an Olympic athlete representing America, then why would you turn your back on your flag and country?
Sounds like something an anti-American far-left radical social justice activist would do and it just happened this week, reported Breitbart.
The athlete is Gwen Berry and she’s a hammer thrower who just took a bronze position on the podium at the U.S. Olympic track and field trials in Oregon, where they play the National Anthem. It makes sense to play the anthem considering these are Olympic based trials and these are athletes who could be representing America in the top level competition of their sport against athletes from other countries.
Any athlete competing at this level who could represent this great nation should be the most proud American out there, but of course, it’s 2021 and the far-left radical Democrats are running wild with their anti-American nonsense, which should absolutely be banned from the Olympics.
However, this one slipped through the cracks and Gwen Berry turned her back on the American flag and it was absolutely ridiculous.

Ignorant and stupid. I hope she gets crushed at the Olympics. https://t.co/2xJABTYgy0

As reported:
On Saturday, the song happened to start while outspoken activist Gwen Berry was standing on the podium after receiving her bronze medal in the hammer throw.
While the music played, Berry placed her left hand on her hip and shuffled her feet. She took a quarter turn, so she was facing the stands, not the flag. Toward the end, she plucked up her black T-shirt with the words “Activist Athlete” emblazoned on the front, and draped it over her head.
“I feel like it was a set-up, and they did it on purpose,” Berry said of the timing of the anthem. “I was pissed, to be honest.”
However, Berry’s defense doesn’t make sense.
Anyone who hears the National Anthem start playing in America knows exactly what to do – place your hand on your heart, love your country, and be thankful to be here every single day.
Anyone on this planet could be born at any place in the world, and those of us who were born in America should be thankful to live in a developed country where we can really do and be anything we put our hearts to.
Gwen Berry worked so hard to become an Olympic-level athlete, but she couldn’t be bothered to respect the flag and country she might represent one day in the real Olympics?
Now SHE wants to act like SHE’S mad?
No, no, no honey, that doesn’t work for Lou the Freedom Dog!
Anytime an athlete hears the National Anthem start playing, they need to lead by example and this is NOT what Gwen Berry showed us as she stood there taking a bronze victory – the second place loser in my book.
