Didn’t anyone learn anything from CNN’s Jeffrey Toobin?
The video below isn’t quite as revealing, embarrassing, or disturbing as Jeffrey Toobin’s incident, but it certainly wasn’t expected and probably not wanted either!
As stated on NY Post, This Zoom incident with the Democrat Rep. happened during a meeting with Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas and House Homeland Security Committee members got more than they could handle when one Rep. accidentally revealed a little more than expected.
It was Rep. Donald Payne Jr. who was reportedly dressed for work earlier in the day, but not so much now, as he showed up to this meeting dressed in a Captain America t-shirt and either pajama pants or boxers.
When Payne stood up from his bed, his shirt went way higher than expected and the Democrat showed a LOT of skin as his stomach was sticking out right in front of the camera DURING the meeting!
Other members on the Zoom call struggled to hide their reaction, with a good jaw dropping response as the meeting continued.
And of course, after the unfortunate incident with the Democrat Rep. accidentally exposing his body on Zoom, others flocked right to social media to post about it and the jokes came in hotter than pancakes in Nevada, per report:
Rep. Kat Cammack (R-Fla.) covered her mouth in shock as Rep. Yvette Clarke (D-NY) continued speaking to Mayorkas — ironically, about cybersecurity — apparently oblivious to the view.
Rep. Beth Van Duyne (R-Texas) shared the video, tweeting, “Another reason Democrats should get off Zoom and back to work. #TheStruggleIsReal.”
Rep. Brian Mast (R-Fla.) slammed Payne’s conduct, writing, “If taxpayers are paying you $174,000 per year, getting out of bed and putting some clothes on for work seems like it should be a minimum requirement.”
It gets even better.
Rep. Payne acknowledged his moment of Zoom fame like Jeffrey Toobin and issued a statement about it. Payne said: “As a public servant, my focus has always been the public good and my work to better the lives of my constituents and all Americans, regardless of the circumstances.”
And sometimes those circumstances are having your Captain America shirt lifted up during a work call with the American government!
If I still have your attention and you’re ready for a good laugh, then watch the video posted by Congresswoman Beth Van Duyne:
