Here’s MSNBC regular Donny Deutsch doing his best to convince Americans that the Democrat Party is not run by fascists.

A certain portion of the American people are too stupid that they cannot be trusted to live their own lives, and require a domineering government to order them around, a frequent MSNBC contributor said on Friday morning’s episode of “Morning Joe.”
“You don’t have a choice,” Donny Deutsch, a controversial business mogul and pundit, told those opposed to another wave of mask mandates, vaccine passports, or legislation requiring American citizens to receive the COVID-19 vaccination.
Deutsch noted, “I’m done worrying about what people think. I’m done worrying about, ‘Is there going to be a firestorm?’ Whether it’s a mandated mask or a mandated vaccine, there’s an idiot percentage of this population that just needs to be told what to do. And guess what? You don’t have a choice. Too bad.”

Unfortunately for the nation, it looks like mask mandates are making a comeback.

St. Louis County in Missouri is mandating face masks for everyone over the age of 5 when indoors regardless of vaccination status amid the spread of the delta variant, officials announced Friday.
Masks are also “strongly encouraged” for groups when outdoors.
“We’ve lost more than 500 St. Louisans to COVID-19, and if our region doesn’t work together to protect one another, we could see spikes that overwhelm our hospital and public health systems,” Dr. Fredrick Echols, acting director of health for the City of St. Louis, said Friday.
Until the left stops fear-mongering, this sort of nonsense will continue to build up steam. And it is sad to see.
