At least one county in America is showing it’s true passion and support for former President Donald Trump. That would be Lyon County located in Nevada and they voted 4-1 in FAVOR of renaming Old Dayton Valley Road to “Pres. Trump Way” reported Washington Examiner.
As stated in the report:
“He was a good leader as far as I’m concerned, he supported law enforcement, he supported our military, he supported the rurals,” said Republican Commissioner Ken Gray.
Trump carried 69% of the county’s votes, equating to a 41-point margin, against eventual winner President Joe Biden, according to the Nevada state government’s 2020 election results. Republicans swept the county in the election, beating every Democrat who ran for office.
The report further states that no one has any homes on the road being named after Trump, but at least three buildings do – that being a library, a senior center, and even a high school!
Imagine being in high school and your school’s address is on Pres. Trump Way? That would be amazing, unless the student is a leftist whose parents poisoned them with liberalism and communism.
When speaking out about it, Commissioner Gray stated that there are plenty of streets, buildings, and bridges named after people who sometimes come with a little bit of controversy. He also suggested that if they wanted to rename it after Obama, that he would have supported that too. Perhaps Commissioner Gray is just being a good American and supporting his presidents, regardless of who they are – something the far-left Democrats could learn a lesson about after they spent four years whining about Donald Trump, despite him doing a fine job in office – much better than this absurdity of a failure in Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.
Gray said, “Show me one street or building or bridge that wasn’t named after somebody that had controversy associated with them.”
The proposed street name change is not fully accepted yet. It must be voted on by the county planning committee to make it official, said Washington Examiner.
