Barack Obama is back in the news today. That’s right, the man Democrats consider to be the best president of all-time is making headlines – but for all the wrong reasons.
The 44th president will turn 60 on August 4 and he’s planning a rather large extravaganza.
As you might expect, the Biden White House doesn’t think this is a big deal. Neither does the mainstream media.
The problem is that you can be certain that if Donald Trump held a 700-person party he’d immediately be called out for throwing a COVID-19 “super-spreader” event. If you’d argue otherwise, you’re out of your mind.

The party will be held outdoors and all guests are asked to be vaccinated. Invitees also must submit their negative test results to a COVID-coordinator within a certain time window before the event.
Martha’s Vineyard does not qualify as an area of “substantially-high” risk, which was the target of the CDC recommendations.
Obama officials did not say whether guests will be required to wear masks.

For Barack Obama’s 60th birthday, the former president is hosting a shindig at the famed Martha’s Vineyard this coming weekend, and while it had been reported that Pearl Jam would be one of the acts performing, Fox News has learned that is not the case.
“Pearl Jam is not performing at Obama’s 60th birthday party this weekend,” a spokesperson for the rock band, which has also performed under the bill “Mookie Blaylock,” said on Monday.
News of the birthday party – which will reportedly include 475 of the former president’s closest guests – drew the ire of critics on social media, who characterized the move as hypocritical in light of the new guidance on the delta variant. According to Axios, the event will include “friends, family and former aides – and 200-plus staff planning to work the part.”
