The switchboard on Sunday morning over at the White House was apparently shut-down as a number of news outlets attempted to reach the administration for their reaction at the devastating chaos being played out at Kabul airport. Up to 80,000 people have jammed the terminal with thousands fleeing across the runway attempting to board the military aircrafts slowly taxying on the tarmac.
News outlets including Fox News attempted time and again to raise someone in the White House only to be told by auto message that the administration was on vacation.

Frustrated Fox reporters were finally forced to send several emails to White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki, and received an auto-reply stating; “I will be out of the office from August 15th-August 22nd,” read the email returned to Fox News. Instead, Psaki’s reply directs the press to reach out to other press officers in her absence.
The determined reporter hoping to reach a live White House official regarding the bloody chaotic scene at the airport, again emailed Psaki, and once again received the same auto-reply message.

The stunning silence from the White House as images of desperate pro American Afghanistan’s fleeing for their lives, many with bounties on their heads for supporting the U.S., had many lawmakers fuming.
Republican lawmaker Jim Banks, a Navy veteran who served in Afghanistan, watching the devastating chaos unfolding Sunday incredulously asked; “Where is Joe Biden.”
Meanwhile, the only news that the White House was willing to share, was a photo of Biden being briefed on the situation.
Moments later, in an apparent effort to show the public that Biden was still engaged in the unraveling crisis, the White House posted on social media; “This morning, the President and Vice President met with their national security team and senior officials to hear updates on the draw down of our civilian personnel in Afghanistan, evacuations of SIV applicants and other Afghan allies, and the ongoing security situation in Kabul.”
However, the images flashing across America’s TV screens showed a different story as “Live Updates” by brave reporters risking their lives brought home the true extent of the mayhem.
“BRAKING NEWS: 3 KILLED BY GUNFIRE OUTSIDE TERMINAL BUILDING”
Later in the morning the number was revised to 5 killed outside a terminal at the Kabul International Airport, as Afghanistan citizens attempted to flee the Taliban takeover of the capital.
UPDATE: The DOD has confirmed that two individuals, who have not been confirmed as Taliban fighters, opened fire at the Kabul airport Monday. One US service member may have been wounded in the exchange, according to preliminary reports. https://t.co/PKJ0wBFc1R

It was revealed later in the day, that American forces at the airport actually were the ones firing their weapons in the airport in an attempt to control the surging mob desperate to leave the country.
Reuters News reported U.S. officials claimed that American troops fired into the air to prevent hundreds of frightened people from running onto the tarmac, adding; “The firing was done to defuse the chaos.”
Meanwhile Pentagon Spokesperson John Kirby told Fox News late Sunday afternoon, after the apparent tragedy at the airport, those American citizens in the war torn city will not be given special privileges for evacuation over Afghan SIV applicants.
Moreover, with the situation deteriorating by the hour, the Department of Deference is prepared to immediately house thousands of Afghan refuges on American military bases without being vetted.
Documents obtained by Fox News shows that up to 30,000 Afghan SIV applications still need to be vetted. This raises the possibility of terrorists or other bad actors sneaking into the county.
“The situation in Afghanistan may lead to DoS [Department of State] allowing Afghan SIV applicants to be moved to temporary housing locations while still being vetted for parolee status,” the document reads.
Meanwhile “sleepy Joe” is on vacation, hiding out at Camp David until midweek, while White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki, sends out emails that virtually reads “DO NOT DISTURB!”
