Biden’s Approval Rating 10 Points Lower Than Obama’s at Same Stage of His Presidency

Joe Biden’s approval rating is 10 points lower than that of Barack Obama. The current president’s data was compared to Obama’s numbers during the same time in office.

According to approval rating averages calculated by RealClearPolitics (RCP) and Fox NewsObama’s approval rating on October 11 during his first year in office was 53 % with a disapproval rating of 40 %. Currently, Biden faces an average approval rating of 43 % with a disapproval rating of 52.3 %.

Since September there has been a rapid drop in President Joe Biden’s approval rating and popularity. The Democrat’s strategy to withdraw U.S. troops from Afghanistan was one of the factors contributing to the acceleration of the decline.

For example, as early as August a YouGov/The Economist poll showed that a record number of Americans disapproved of Biden’s performance. Forty-nine percent of respondents said they disapproved of the president’s job and only 39 % said he was doing a good job.

Joe Biden’s approval drops on several issues

Similarly, several polls have shown that Americans do not agree with Biden’s decisions on various issues. A study published by the Pew Research Center shows that the majority of Americans disapprove of his border policy.

That study concludes that 68 % of American adults believe the government has done a “somewhat bad” or “very bad” job in dealing with the increase in migrants arriving at the border.

But there is not only discontent with social policies. Most Americans also blame the Biden Administration for inflation. This was revealed by the results of a Fox News poll.

Finally, the poll showed that according to the results, Americans are concerned about inflation (86 %) and the generalized increase in prices, as well as the increase in violent crime (81 %) and political division (83 %) in the United States.
