New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy is taking a page out of the California recall election and saving his worst for last. The governor, who is now running neck-in-neck with Republican Jack Ciattarelli, intends to implement draconian mandates. But only when and if he gets re-elected.
Project Veritas captured the nefarious plan on video. It shows Wendy Martinez, a senior adviser for Phil Murphy, explaining that they won’t jeopardize Murphy’s re-election by implementing an oppressive and unpopular vaccine mandate before the election on November 2nd.
“He’s [Phil Murphy] going to do it [vaccine mandates], but he couldn’t do it before the elections,” Martinez said in Spanish. (Project Veritas provides the original Spanish language in the video above.)
“The independents and the undecided would not vote for him if he did the mandates,” the journalist said as Martinez shook her head and drank a beverage.
“Because they’re all into all the sh*t,” the censored video shows Martinez saying in English. “My rights, my sh*t.”
Then the video turns to Matthew Urquijo of New Jersey Forward for further corroboration of Murphy’s November ‘dirty trick’ strategy.
“Once, you know, we have a win, he’s like, ‘Alright, guns blazing,’” Urquijo said. “Like, who cares?”
“I’m in it, let’s do the mandates, let’s do this, X, Y, and Z,” he added.
There you have it. Phil Murphy is taking a page out of the Gavin Newsom recall election and saving his worst policies for after the election.
Just after he survived the recall, Gavin Newsom punished voters by issuing a ‘vaccine mandate’ for K-12 students in public and private schools across the state.
“In the first such action in the nation, Gov. Gavin Newsom issued a mandate Friday requiring all eligible public and private schoolchildren in California to be vaccinated against COVID-19, a policy the state expects to affect millions of students,” the LA Times reported.
“The mandate would take effect for grades 7 through 12 the semester following the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s full approval of the vaccine for children ages 12 and over, according to the governor’s office,” the report continued. “Students in kindergarten through sixth grade would be phased in after the vaccine is formally approved for younger children.”
“The mandate could take effect for students 12 and older as early as January 2022 if there is full federal approval for a COVID-19 vaccine for that age range, the governor said in remarks at a San Francisco school,” the Times noted.
Phil Murphy obviously wants to make New Jersey the “California of the East.” Murphy has presided over the absolute worst state for Covid death rates per capita in the country for most of the pandemic and was one of four governors guilty of passing fatal nursing home decrees.
If New Jersey wants more ineffective Covid policies and unnecessary draconian mandates, it will put Governor Murphy back in office. If it wants to avoid continuing Murphy’s track record of failure, it will opt for Republican Jack Ciattarelli on November 2.
