During the past few 18 months of COVID-19 lockdowns, progressive politicians have abused the emergency powers designed to protect their citizenry.
Instead of looking out for the welfare of their citizens, they have used their extra authority to control the population, and at times arrogantly lived in violation of their own edicts.
Democratic California Gov. Gavin Newsom signed an executive order on Nov. 15 extending the COVID-19 emergency rules he initially put into place in March of 2020. The rules are now scheduled to expire in March of 2022.
Just a week after extending California’s COVID-19 state of emergency, Newsom left for a Mexico vacation with his family. Gavin, his wife, and their children have escaped the unnecessary regulations and will not return to California until Nov. 28.

Newsom’s administration also recently kept California amongst the most tyrannically controlled states in the union by becoming the first state to mandate vaccines for all K-12 students in October.
As with other politicians like U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Newsom himself has faced criticism in the past for not taking his own COVID restrictions seriously.
In one example, he attended a high-end dinner party at the French Laundry in California with more than a dozen people from different households in November 2020, violating the state’s COVID rules at the time.
EXCLUSIVE: We’ve obtained photos of Governor Gavin Newsom at the Napa dinner party he’s in hot water over. The photos call into question just how outdoors the dinner was. A witness who took photos tells us his group was so loud, the sliding doors had to be closed. 10pm on @FOXLA pic.twitter.com/gtOVEwa864

Instead of taking full responsibility for his actions, admitting he thinks he is above the law, Newsome said the following instead; “While our family followed the restaurant’s health protocols and took safety precautions, we should have modeled better behavior and not joined the dinner.”

In spite of all Newsom’s efforts, California’s fight against the COVID -19 virus is failing miserably when compared to states like that stayed open like Florida.
California averaged 16 new cases out of every 100,000 population between Nov. 7 and Nov 9., while Florida had just 7.
The sad reality is Gavin Newsom, regardless of his mental state of mind, is more concerned about Gavin Newsom, than the general welfare of the 36 million people who call California their home.
