Aaron Rodgers, starting quarterback for the Green Bay Packers, tested positive for COVID-19 on Wednesday, November 5th, 2021. This was reported by ESPN, as well as several other news agencies. Now, keep in mind that people test positive for COVID-19 every single day, especially vaccinated players that don’t get dragged out by the media for catching the virus.
So why does the media care so much? Because back in August right before the season, Aaron Rodgers claimed to be “immunized” against the vaccine, but because the journalists only hear what they want to hear, they took that to mean the 37-year-old athlete had been jabbed by Moderna, Pfizer, or Johnson & Johnson. To be perfectly fair, they did ask him if he was vaccinated, but shame on them for not catching the rewording. “Yeah, I’ve been immunized.”

Pretty sure this answer came straight from “sly fox” Nick Wild while he was giving “dumb bunny” Judy Hopps lessons on how to handle the media in Disney’s Zootopia. Never be nervous, just ask and then answer your own question when you don’t want to respond to the press’ actual question.
The thing is, Aaron Rodgers isn’t a media darling, despite his State Farm commercials, dating actresses, race car drivers, or supermodels. While he is highly overrated as a player (in my not so humble opinion), he isn’t well liked because he’s seen as arrogant and cold. He’s had an estranged relationship with his family for years. As of April, 2021, Rodgers wasn’t pleased to be with Green Bay and was reportedly looking to play elsewhere.
Just today, Wisconsin Health company Prevea dissolved their business relationship with the QB, though that was because of the lie and not because they think he might be a jerk.

Many on twitter and in the sport’s world of journalism are now trying to get State Farm to fire Aaron Rodgers for lying as well. There have been dozens of Sports Analysts calling Rodgers out for lying, saying he should be shunned and kicked out of the league. Of course the mainstream media is working overtime to get Joe Rogan and Aaron Rodgers canceled for doing their own research and taking the advice of their doctors when it came to treating the illness.
But Aaron Rodgers did his homework. He even provided 500 pages worth of research he did for himself on COVID-19. To pretend that he or Joe Rogan don’t know what they are talking about is as ignorant as the false reports that came out about people “overdosing” on animal grade Ivermectin.

The CDC and FDA still continue to warn people not to listen to people when it comes to the use of Ivermectin, but India began using it successfully back in April/May of 2021. And no, that’s not according to some conservative home-grown news source. That was Forbes that indicated that at least one state in India would be using it despite the WHO (World Health Organization) telling them not to.
Rodgers has also made it clear that he is not interested in politics about COVID-19.

He does have some support, however, despite his feelings on politics.

Aaron Rodgers and Kyrie deserve more credit. Willing to withstand the hate and stick to their guns. You may disagree with their decisions, but it is nice to see people with big status not caving to the media and the weirdos on the internet. Think for yourself… always.

Below is the full interview and explanation that Rodgers gives for his side of the COVID-19 “lie” and why he felt it wasn’t safe for him to speak out about his status in regards to the vaccine. Love him or hate him, he’s not wrong.
