Joe Biden on Friday gave a commencement address at South Carolina State University in Orangeburg. It is the only public, historically black land-grant institution in South Carolina and is a member school of the Thurgood Marshall College Fund, and is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS).
The mentally declining Biden once again called Vice President Kamala Harris, “President Harris”, during his address.

Biden also told some blatant lies, including telling the graduates that during the Civil Rights Movement, that he went out to “desegregate restaurants and movie theaters”.

The problem is Joe has a tainted history of trying to block the integration of black students into previously segregated white schools.
In 1972 Biden claimed that busing was unnecessary in Northern states. He voted for several anti-busing policies and partnered with late Republican senator Jesse Helms, who vehemently opposed segregation policies. Biden also voted to prevent the Department of Health, Education, and Welfare from collecting data on schools’ racial makeup, a move that the NAACP described as an “anti-black amendment.”
In 1977 Joe argued that certain de-segregation policies would cause his children to grow up ‘in a racial jungle’.
He then said: “Unless we do something about this, my children are going to grow up in a jungle, the jungle being a racial jungle with tensions having built so high that it is going to explode at some point. We have got to make some move on this.”
In one quote, which appears to come from a congressional hearing related to anti-busing legislation, Biden emphasized wanting to “ensure we do have orderly integration of society,” adding he was “not just talking about education but all of society.”

Biden also used the worn-out lie that former President Trump, in reference to the white supremacists at the Charlottesville protest, said “You Had Very Fine People, On Both Sides”
In context, even the far left fact-checkers call Biden’s claim is false, out of context.
