The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) was a mostly isolated huge, poor nation, with a sputtering economy and who was far behind the U.S. in technology and infrastructure.
Politicians like then-Senator Joe Biden, downplayed China’s economic and military prowess even implying they were in need of help to modernize.
Things have changed dramatically though as reports of China’s theft of U.S. technological and military intellectual property plus their entry into more markets, have China dominating in global manufacturing. In addition, their rapidly advancing military is making global leaders very nervous.
The information is reporting Apple CEO Tim Cook did a secret deal with Chinese authorities in 2016.
Interviews and internal Apple documents provide a behind-the-scenes look at how the company made concessions to Beijing and won key legal exemptions. CEO Tim Cook personally lobbied officials over threats that would have hobbled its devices and services. His interventions paved the way for Apple’s unparalleled success in the country.
Mr. Cook reportedly signed a $275 billion deal with China, during one of several visits to China in 2016, after Chinese regulators’ actions tanked iPhone sales in the country.
As part of the deal, Apple agreed to help Chinese firms build “the most advanced manufacturing technologies” and invest “many billions of dollars” in the country. The five-year agreement was designed to placate Chinese government officials who felt that Apple was failing to invest enough in the Chinese economy.
In addition, it made Apple commit to helping train tech workers and promised they would use Chinese suppliers for more parts for Apple devices and develop deals with Chinese software firms.
Apple further committed to “grow together with Chinese enterprises to achieve mutual benefits and a win-win situation,” develop China’s IT industries, promote education in the fields of science, technology, education, and environmental protection, and in exchange China agreed to provide “necessary support and assistance.”
This is how the U.S. powerful are selling out the We The People.
The U.S. federal government and large corporations have our national borders open, provide tens of thousands of H1-B Visas sending high-paying tech jobs to foreign nationals, all with the goal of globalism and increasing profits through foreign markets.
This is why China is rapidly becoming the world power, supplanting the United States Of America, and must be stopped.
