In the United States Of America, there are thousands of people, influencers, who work daily to try to make a difference for various causes. All of them run into obstacles, with only a handful of them who are willing to lay it all down when it counts. Their convictions are so engrained in their being that anything short of going all-in is a foreign idea.
An estimated 75 plus million Americans voted for Donald J. Trump on November 3rd, 2020, well above what the consultants ensured him he would need to be re-elected.
Following the voting machines shutting down, then re-starting in the swing states, mystery ballots getting dropped off in the early morning hours of November 4th and over the next week, the election eventually was called for Joe Biden.
These unexplained events and shocking outcome, lead to the January 6th rally at the U.S. Capitol Building. In addition, a national debate is still underway over what really happened during those 24 hours which allowed an unpopular, mentally declining man, who did not campaign, to mysteriously defeat Trump by several million votes.
One of those all-in influencers, My Pillow CEO Mike Lindell jumped into the arena the night of the election challenging the results. After spending millions of dollars of his own money, filing countless lawsuits, and after hosting a cyber symposium, the battle still rages on, leaving Mike as one of the last remaining warriors still in the arena, all in.
Mr. Lindell was on former White House adviser Steve Bannon’s War Room broadcast Wednesday discussing the lawsuit he is filing against Dominion Voting Systems. Mr. Bannon served as the CEO of Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign and spent the better part of 2016 as Trump’s chief White House strategist and senior counselor.
Dominion voting systems have sued Lindell for defamation, while Smartmatic has asked a judge to dismiss a lawsuit the MyPillow founder filed against the voting systems company.
During the conversation, Mr. Bannon confronted Lindell over the fact that judges appointed by former President Donald Trump have ruled against him.
“It’s fascinating to me that so far…it has been Trump judges, mainly Trump-appointed judges, that have been telling—you know, ruling—that across the board on all these, that these cases go forward,” Bannon told Lindell during a Wednesday interview on his War Room podcast. “Is that not the case?”
Lindell admitted that Bannon was correct. “Well, that is true that they’ve ruled to go forward.” He said that his legal team is appealing.
In August, Judge Carl Nichols, a Trump appointee to the U.S. District Court in the District of Columbia, ruled that a defamation lawsuit filed by Dominion against Lindell could move forward.
Earlier this month, Mr. Lindell told CNBC that he’s spent some $25 million of his own money in his effort to challenge the 2020 election results.
“I will keep spending it because there is no tomorrow. We lose our country. We either only have two paths: Either it gets changed before the 2022 election or we lose our country forever. I will spend every dime I have,” Lindell said. “I will spend whatever it takes.”
