It was a bizarre, irrational, and angry race-baiting speech. Void of reality, even for an over-the-hill Biden, attempting to somehow link the late segregationist George Wallace to the GOP.
Biden’s angry diatribe had all the characteristics of a dementia confused senior spouting out a litany of falsehoods.
His attempt to vilify Republican lawmakers as racist by invoking the name of the late Alabama governor lit up social media, with many pointing out that Wallace was a Democrat who Biden had repeatedly praised in the past.
The president appeared at Atlanta University Center Consortium of Clark Atlanta University and Morehouse College, and immediately began attacking Republican legislators.
“So I ask every elected official in America, how do you want to be remembered? Do you want to be on the side of Dr. King or George Wallace? Do you want to be on the side of John Lewis or Bull Connor? Do you want to be on the side of Abraham Lincoln or Jefferson Davis?” Biden asked.
Joe Biden went to Georgia today and said that you're a "domestic enemy" on the side of "George Wallace and Bull Connor" if you support election integrity and oppose his federal takeover of elections.

An appalling speech from a truly divisive president.
The incendiary speech immediately drew the ire of GOP lawmakers, who quickly dusted off archived news clippings depicting a youthful Joe Biden bragging about how then Governor George Wallace praised him.
In the news clipping, an article in May 1987 from the Detroit Free Press explains that Biden boasted to southern voters that the southern part of Delaware is “culturally part of Dixie” and reminded them “that former Gov. George Wallace praised him as one of the most outstanding young politicians of America”.

In addition to the article posted by the House GOP, the president has made similar comments that appear to paint Alabama’s former segregationist governor in a positive light. In 1975, then-Senator Biden complimented Wallace as someone who is not afraid to tell it like it is.
Biden continued praising the late governor, stating, “I think the Democratic Party could stand a liberal George Wallace, someone who’s not afraid to stand up and offend people, someone who wouldn’t pander but would say what the American people know in their gut is right.”
Least we forget, Biden has also praised other racist Democrats like segregationist Sen. Strom Thurmond and former Ku Klux Klan Exalted Cyclops Sen. Robert Byrd. In fact, both he and former President Obama actually gave separate eulogies at Byrd’s funeral.
Biden’s attempt to rewrite history, painting Republicans and conservatives as racists, didn’t go unnoticed by Fox’s Tucker Carlson who carefully dissected Biden’s self aggrandizing speech Tuesday evening.
Tucker began; “During his entire first year in office, Joe Bide did virtually nothing to improve the actual lives of actual American citizens. And he didn’t because he didn’t even really try. Making voters happy is not a feature of the equity agenda. Punishment is the point of the equity agenda, inflicting pain on the right people, dispensing rough justice, meting out reparations by other names.
“In his speeches, you can see clearly how Joe Biden feels about America. He’s deeply disappointed in the country, and he’s annoyed with the people who live here. Biden doesn’t cajole voters. He harangues and berates them. He patronizes them and issues threats. You cause the corona pandemic. You’re stupid and selfish. No Fourth of July hot dogs until you obey.
“So for an American president, this is an entirely new way of governing. And you’ve got to wonder how long it can continue. How exactly are Democrats going to hold on to power in the coming midterm elections? If you think about it, there’s only one way they can do that. They’ve got to create a new form of government, one that keeps incumbents in power forever, no matter what they do, no matter how incompetent and destructive they may be.”
The congenial Fox host continued assessing Biden’s speech, along with his take on the future of our Republic.
