A video of former President Gerald Ford has gone viral and has many speculating that the 38th US president predicted Vice President Kamala Harris will replace Joe Biden as the US President. The video from 1989 took place at the Herbert Hoover Presidential Library and Museum, almost a decade after Ford left office.
Ford was at the Herbert Hoover Presidential Library and Museum to address youth on what a US president does after leaving office. After addressing the youth a bold little girl stepped up and asked President Ford “What advice would you give a young lady wanting to become president of the United States?”.
According to the video, President Ford replied by saying:
“I can tell you how I think it will happen because it won’t happen in the normal course of events.”
“Either the Republican or Democrat political party will nominate a man for president and a woman for vice president. And the woman and man will win, so you’ll end up with a president a male and a vice president a female,”
“In that term of office of the president, the president will die and the woman will become president under the law or Constitution,”

The video has raised many eyebrows considering all the little girl asked was for some advice on how a woman can become the first US President, but in return, Ford looks as if he forgot his audience was a group of children and stated that the first female president will come by death through a sitting President.
Ford could’ve easily given the young lady some practical advice but instead, he gave a strange prediction that looks as if it might come to pass. As Gerald Ford predicted the United States does have a woman as a Vice President and the President she sits under is Joe Biden who is currently 79 years old and has faced backlash for not being cognitively aware.
On several occasions Biden has even referred to Harris as the President instead of Vice president, take a look:

All throughout Biden’s presidency so far he has been ridiculed for his constant forgetfulness and mistakes. On several occasions during speeches, he has gone on violent coughing spats that could last up to several minutes which has many thinking that the 25th Amendment could be invoked due to Biden’s poor health.
Technically speaking, for a brief moment of time Kamala Harris has already become the President. In November Biden transferred his power while he was under anesthesia for a colonoscopy at the Walter Reed medical center. The move by Biden made Harris the first acting female president in the history of the United States. After the procedure was over Biden’s power was transferred back to him and everything was back to normal.
Trump also underwent a colonoscopy but refused anesthesia because he didn’t want to transfer his presidential powers to Vice President Mike Pence.
If there was ever a tie for Ford’s prediction to come true it would be with the Biden administration but only time will really tell.
