There’s a more than decent chance that Donald Trump will run for president for the third consecutive time in 2024. If for some reason he doesn’t, the man Republicans should seriously look at is Ron DeSantis.
The former Congressman and current governor of the Sunshine State does not take guff from liberal reporters, telling it like it is. He speaks truth to facts and remains a stalwart conservative.
Floridians should be thrilled to have him in charge.
On Thursday, DeSantis blasted Joe Biden like he got paid to do it.

The Florida governor’s office said it may withhold the salaries of public school officials who institute mask mandates in their districts as new cases and hospitalizations surge in the state.
Governor Ron DeSantis signed an executive order banning school districts from establishing mask mandates earlier this month, days after the Center for Disease Control recommended that students and staff wear masks earlier this fall.
School boards were warned that state funding could be withheld if districts do not comply with the order.

On Monday, the governor’s office released a statement about what those financial repercussions could look like.
The state board of education could “move to withhold the salary of the district superintendent or school board members, as a narrowly tailored means to address the decision-makers who led to the violation of law,” a statement of the Governor’s office read, obtained by CBS 4 Miami.
We should all be thanking DeSantis for standing up to the liberal mob.
It’s as if Biden wants conservatives to hate him, ya know? And this guy ran on being a “uniter”, right?
Here’s what Joe recently said about Americans who have yet to get vaccinated, “And so everybody talks about freedom and not to have a shot or have a test. Well guess what? How about patriotism? How about making sure that you’re vaccinated so that you do not spread the disease to anybody else. What about that? What’s the big deal?”
That’s your commander-in-chief, America.

Five Republican governors have sent a letter to the Pentagon asking the Department of Defense to remove its coronavirus vaccine mandate on National Guard members.
“We write to request you withdraw part of your and the Service Secretaries’ directives to National Guard members in their Title 32 duty status concerning the COVID-19 vaccine,” the letter states. “We acknowledge your right to establish readiness standards for the National Guard for activation into a Title 10 status. However, directives dictating whether training in a Title 32 status can occur, setting punishment requirements for refusing to be COVID-19 vaccinated, and requiring separation from each state National Guard if unvaccinated are beyond your constitutional and statutory authority.”
This administration literally could not be a bigger joke. At least, you’d hope not.
